Stolen from Bleeding purple on tRant

"Your new offense is a big 12 offense so we are not worried"

"Tx offense is slightly better and SE is much better than LSU and burrow, and your D is really only slightly better than TX D"

"Glad yall improved your offense because a close game is more fun to watch and we are gonna score on the Tigers every drive"

"The stadium will be very hostile to tiger fans, but it shouldnt matter because there wont be many there"

"I think TX has advantage on offense and special teams, home field advantage, and the defenses are equal, I'm not worried"

"Winners find a way to win and losers find a way to lose. Lsu loses big games and TX wins big games. Just look at what we did in GA game"

If LSU wins it will be because TX made one too many mistakes or turnovers, TX is the better team in all three aspects"

"Its going to be 100 degrees, you Louisiana boys ain't ready for TX heat"

When asked about Elingher less than stellar accuracy: "it looked like the 1st game and not enough passes in practice, I'm sure they will be sharp as a razor Sat." And "I think he was purposely sloppy to lull defenses into a sense of security"

And a some mixed rational statements:
"I'm not worried about yall throwing on us, we can shut that down, but to potential for a power running game is bothersome"

"Your oline isnt good enough to stop our pass rush but I'm worried about or Dlineman stopping the run"

When asked about talent vs experienced developed talent

"Talent is talent, TX has just as many 3,4,5 star rated players as LSU in every position. Your DBs really aren't any better than ours"

I admit, I do think an old school smash mouth power running attack with a potent play action passing game would plow Texas under with minimal effort rather then going pass happy against them.

That having been said, let us say for the sake of argument that the offenses are about the same. Based on what I've seen I have no reason to believe that the Texas defense is within shouting distance of the LSU defense. They just aren't there.

Unless this is just one of those games, which y'all usually have against us for whatever reason, I think LSU slowly pulls away and wins by two scores. Barring a rash of turn overs of course.

Texas has top talent just like LSU does. They have the better coach. I don’t think LSU wins this game but it’s hard to say with how young the Texas defense is this year. I really don’t care who wins. I enjoy seeing Texas lose.

I don't think LSU folks who post on tRant have much room to be laughing at outrageously homerific statements by other fanbases

Reading LSU boards, LSU posters don't seem to fathom a possibility Texas keeping the game close, much less winning the game

Homeboarders are gonna homeboard, and all homeboards are alike in having stupid posts

They aren't and that will be the difference in this game.

I expect Delpit to have a huge game.

Those comments seem awfully familiar to LSU fans trying to reason with themselves on how they were so much better than Alabama back in 2018.

Would I have loved to see Georgia beat Texas? Absolutely. But that game meant less than any regular season game, and nowhere near a playoff game. More of a 3rd place losers bracket game

On which side of the ball? Not defense.

LSU has a defense and a solid rushing attack. If you think it will be a typical big 12 game, you're mistaken.

texas defense is not comparable. Burrow will chew that tu defense to pieces if the sips sell out to stop the run, so LSU will be able to eat the clock with a balanced attack that the fricking longhorns can't stop.

LSU doesn't run smash mouth power.

you mean fans on a message board think their team will win a football game? Oh,man. What a bunch of numbskulls. I'm glad LSU fans only engage in honest, respectable discussion.

We didn't see much of it in the first game, but most LSU fans don't even know for sure what our identity on offense is going to be.

You're a zone running team with a very generic, off the shelf, 11 personnel spread concept.

Yep.

Don't be pussies, LSU posters.

You're drunker and better than that.
