They weren't hyped going into the season. He's just wrong about that.

LSU fans have taught me a much broader definition of hype when it came to our football team this past year

But you brought up the fans.

Whatever. Can't deny that we have consistently failed to meet some of our loftier expectations.

I still can't say the season is over, not looking good though. At the very least I've enjoyed watching Madden turn into a stud. I don't expect much watching Arkansas sports these days.

Yeah this team "had promise" but was no guarantee. That was the consensus. We've fallen on the disappointing side of that but it still feels about right.

As a Mizzou alum/fan, I feel very fortunate to win at Arkansas.

It's the loss to Georgia at home that I can't get over.

However, I don't think the sky is falling for the Hogs...just some bad luck.

The sky would be falling if we were getting blown out or beaten by direction Tennessee schools and non existent states at home.

The team has had a chance to win 4 out of their 5 SEC losses in the final minute of the game, these games resulted with finding 4 different ways to lose a game...

Nolan has nothing to do with any of this. There is plenty of blame to be spread around for the situation in his final days here.

Just watch...Arkansas will probably win a national title in both football and basketball next season.

Can you imagine what would happen to this place if that unlikely scenario actually happened?!!!

Dear lord.

Yeah I'm a pessimist and I think hog fans are throwing in the towel on this team and Anderson a bit soon. It's been a little awkward but I still see a team getting better more often than not. Mizzou is top 25 good and I think we should have definitely held home court. The ball just never really went our way last night and we let a solid team with good guards that can rebound hang around. Also thought the game was reasonably well officiated which was bad for the hogs because the home team usually can rape the visiting team and get away with it. That's a big reason we win so much at home. Mizzou couldn't have asked for more friendly officiating for sure which is unbelievable on the road.

Meh....

Hogs are 2-5 in league play and outside of opening on the road at aTm, haven't gotten blown out.

Things are a bit different if Arkansas is 3-0 in OT games instead of 1-2. Just could close the door at UGA and at home against Florida.

Team needs a true PG in the worst way.

Sad thing for the SEC is, a 2-5 league team is second in the league in RPI top 50 wins with 3.

I'd also like to say that we've played some good teams so far. I have been pleasantly surprised with the SEC so far. I couldn't tell the difference between any of Mizzou's 3 big guards. They all were 6-5 with NBA bodies and could sink it from deep. Everyone on the team could hit the glass and did so with a bad attitude.
