Good deal. LSU was too good on O to not have a serviceable defense. That’s something I’m hoping Heupel can demonstrate this year.

he’s already doing much better through 2 years than he did at Notre Dame and has a better record through 27 games at LSU than Saban did.

You conveniently left out the fact he hasn’t done any better than Orgeron thus far. O went 15-0 in year 3. Can Kelly do the same?

To put a 3 year timeline on something like that seems unfair to Kelly. Give him time to reset the culture to make it his culture, and get the players he wants to fit his scheme.

I'd be happy if we at least made it to the 1st round of the playoff.

all the blowout losses since Kelly arrived

Nick Saban lost to ULM, a Sly Croom Mississippi State team, a 6-6 Florida State team, and got destroyed by Utah in his first 2 seasons at Bama. I think he turned out alright.

The moment they hired Brian Kelly is the moment they resigned themselves to being 8-4/9-3 for the foreseeable future.

They've seemed pretty happy with it so far, especially given all the blowout losses since Kelly arrived.

I mean he took over a team that had went 11-12 over two seasons and went 10-3 in back to back years.

Are LSU fans supposed to be unhappy with that?

It's better than Saban's first two seasons at either LSU or Alabama.

think what Saban inherited from Dinardo was worse than what BK inherited.

Well you couldn’t be more wrong assuming you’re talking about personnel

How soon does this need to happen so that Kelly can keep his job?

He has a Jimbo type buyout. He is going nowhere any time soon.
