We stole the only thing that LSU had cornered in this league. You are yesterday's news corn dogs. Cope and cry. Tony V is the next Saban level dominant coach.

Not nearly as terrified as LSU apparently.

Would assume this is a Tennessee board this morning based on all their posts

The only good thing about this idiot poster is that he will go under his rock come Sunday to not be heard of again until football season.

Defending national champs playing with house money

I've been constantly seeing this weird narrative, and it's starting to explain why you haven't won a football championship since 1998 despite being a "blue blood" allegedly on the level of Michigan, OSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, and all the other teams who've gone on to have success. Do you think now that you've won your first NC that there's no more work to be done? What defines "house money" to you? You were top five in the preseason due to expectations and returning production, so you're not actually playing with house money until you're winning games in the CWS.

LSU won their seventh two years ago and they weren't happy just making a Regional, and they wouldn't have called a Super Regional a success.

Like, it has to take you more than one whole year to start living in the past, lol. Jesus.

Hell, we've never won the big one yet and most of us don't even consider just making the supers a success.

We replaced all 3 starting pitchers, and 5 guys who all hit over 20 HRs last year, our all everything catcher, as well as our top 3 (4?) bullpen arms.

It was always going to be a bit of a rebuilding year. Supers is a good year for this current group, anything else is gravy.

It’s almost like you’re in a board that is 90% LSU fans. Who woulda thunk it?

This is going to be much the norm most seasons with the portal and NIL. We’ve had to replace our starting rotation every year the last 4 years and will again this year. We’ve had to replace most of the starting lineup the past 2. You’re not unique. You’re going to lose your starting pitchers and most of your bats again this year, too. Can’t use youth as an excuse anymore. That’s the new normal in college sports

Because unlike little alter pissants like you, that are just here to troll, I actually enjoy the game. And maybe, once summer vacation is over and you go to back to Jr High, you'll actually learn enough reading comprehension to realize the point of my comment.

Or do you too sit in your mommy's basement thinking the Vols are playing with house money and that your team, one season removed from a NC, making it to the supers is a success?

Losing 120 HRs from Amick, Moore, Burke, Dreiling, and Tears had a much bigger impact than replacing our starting rotation, even though we did quite well to bring in Fischer and Kilen.

Roster is just a little too green to replicate the GorillaVOLS style that you all have come to know and love, excited to see how this group of freshman progresses in year 2.

You don’t have that many freshmen. You’re losing a bunch of dudes again, like everyone else, and will replace them through the portal, like everyone else. The days of building rosters and developing dudes over 3 years are largely over. We’ve have all of one senior position player on the roster that isn’t a transfer
