I would like to have a press pass to one of his question and answer sessions. I bet that I could piss him off real easy and would not do like these other guys that run after he starts getting pissed. I would stay after him until he knocked over that bottle of Coke or opened it and took a swig out of the bottle

He's probably more pissed after beating Arkansas than Sprinkle is after getting whooped by Florida

"awright.. anybody else?"

media questions bounce off him like ping pong balls off a Tiger tank.

I bet he is like one of those obnoxious little dogs that barks up a storm, but retreats quickly when you take a step toward it.

Yeah, he's always struck me as someone who is easily cowed and pushed around. Not an obvious badass like you.

Saban demands perfection, that's what has made him so successful. Bama won yes, but they did not look like a Saban coached team for much of that game. He has a right to be aggravated etc at his players after that showing on Saturday.

You'd be wrong. He got into physical fights with a couple of players while a DC at Michigan State as a younger (but still, smaller) coach. That dog has a lot of fight in him.

Actually it looked a lot like any Saban coached team from 2008 or 2009. Both teams had a tremendous defense and inconsistent QB play.

To be fair, we played well and Robb Smith had a pretty good game plan against them. We just didn't have the horses to keep it up for 4 quarters.

The trick is on you. Saban will be pissed when you think he will be happy (38-10 drubbing of UGA on the road) and will be happy when you think he will be pissed (uninspired performance (offensively) against Arkansas at home). He will think of whatever the best message is for his team going to A&M and go with it. Has little to do with him actually being pissed or happy.

I respect the hell out of CNS, and I LOVE my Crimson Tide, but I'm not a big fan of the way he kinda bullies the media(not that he gives 2 shits about what I or anyone else here thinks) but he is an a-hole at times with the media. I'd love to see a reporter actually stand up to him.. (BTW, most Bama fans get upset with me, especially the circle jerkers on BOL, whenever I say anything derogatory about their god)..

The reporters ask retarded questions constantly. That's why I love coaches like Saban, Popovich, Belichek. They don't cave to the idiotic questions and give them their coach-speak answers. I love when Popovich puts them on the spot for asking stupid-arse questions.

We had someone interviewing our players earlier this season and they kept asking the same question to the same player over and over until they finally said the answer they wanted. It was something cliche like "next man up".

Problem is that sometimes those aforementioned coaches, will go off even if a reporter asks a totally legitimate question...
