To be fair, the officials were more responsible for that win than Kelly...
Now I remember a little bit of that game. But one still screen shot from some random “block in the back” isn’t enough to convince anyone that is why Bama lost the game

That win over LSU convinced the baws BK was a good coach, which led to his $100M contract.

I am old enough to remember when LSU fans were still parading around BK’s winning percentage. Life comes at you fast.
So you've barely lived and have been a bama.fan since saban got there. Congrats.

My senile grandad still swears this happened. We all roll our eyes, no one believes that it happened since records don’t go that far back.

He also had the most losses all-time at ND. He just coached a lot of games there.
Pretty stupid. Most coaches who have the most losses at a school had good tenures at the school.
Bear Bryant has the most losses at Bama.
Fulmer has the second most at UTK
Dooley has the most at Georgia.
Vaught has the most at Ole Miss.
McLendon has the at LSU.

This is a multiple choice question.
Which of the following is the biggest win of Brian Kelly’s 36 year head coaching career?
A. 2002 D-II national championship game win with Grand Valley State
B: 2017 Citrus Bowl win with Notre Dame
C: 2022 regular season Alabama game win with LSU
D: 2022 Citrus Bowl win with LSU
E: $53 million dollar buyout with LSU
A and E.

Are you old enough to remember when Dennis Francione… yes Dennis Francione… beat Nick Saban and #14 LSU in a night game at Death Valley 31-0? Alabama outgained LSU 477 yards to 196 yards. Even if you are a 5,000 year old vampire you have never seen LSU beat Alabama as badly as Dennis Francione beat LSU that night.

I’m 78 and have been following CFB since the late 50s. I remember Billy
Cannon’s 89 yard punt return against Ole Miss and the Chinese Bandits. In MLB, I celebrated the Milwaukee Braves beating the Yankees in the 57 Series. I watched the Baltimore Colts beating the NY Giants in the 1958 NFL championship. That game, called the greatest game ever played, ushered in the new era of the NFL.

I'm 68 and have seen the greatest teams and changes in the SEC ever. I've seen Bama ruling the league and all of college football, flashes from Auburn, Florida , Georgia , Tennessee , being excited and a little scared playing LSU at night in Baton Rouge.A lot of changes now and I don't have to like it just live it now.
