He seemed very distraught/sad about the arse whipping the dogs were getting. Isn’t it frowned upon to bet on the games you are announcing?

He was very high on Georgia and very confident that they wouldn't let the crowd affect them and they'd win the game.

He was wrong.

Maybe he was hoping to see a better, more competitive game than was played?

While our crowd sounded loud and they were certainly into it all game, i honestly believe this win was on our coaching staff and players and it would've been a similar game if it were played anywhere.

It’s important to know that Georgia kicked a FG right before half against OU last year, which ignited them. I say it’s important because Gary told me 3 times yesterday.

He did his usual excellent job of giving the viewers a great deal of insightful commentary..guy's a real asset to the CBS coverage.

As a UGA fan, I always thought he hated the Dawgs.

I rewatched the game this morning. Gary complimented Georgia and their players during the game. He did the same with respect to LSU and our players when deserved. I think he went into the game expecting Georgia to win. He’s said as much, since. So did Vegas; they were 7 point favorites. However, to suggest that he was cheering for one side or the other is ridiculous.

It’s too bad some of our fans feel such a need to play the victim.

AMEN!
Danielson is paid to point out things that most fans don't see, and to praise good play while pointing out mistakes and poor play. People rant about him being an Alabama homer when he points out the things that they do which are good, but don't realize that they truly are an elite team and there's usually much more to compliment about them than there is for most teams. He's not saying he's GLAD they are good, only that they ARE, in fact, good.
