Yup, I was prepared to like the south. It's a weird arse place full of horrible history, but they are big chubby people who like to drink and eat. Did not expect them to hate Missouri so much.

Pointing out here that most of the posters are indifferent to Missouri as a football team, not particularly as a state per se.
Been to Missouri a few times, twice for longer stays in the rugged southern part of the state, finger lakes. It's a lovely place to visit.
We LSU folks have generally (with apparently one huge exception) had a tough time getting excited over Missouri's membership in the SEC, that's all. A previous poster stated it correctly, saying that things might be different if Missouri were in the West Division.

I wasn't upset at all about it with my response, you just seemed to be one of the few posters to bring up Missouri politics in a non-trolling manner, so I was just curious what specifically you are referring to and kinda give some insight into the perspective of everything for a Mizzou fan, which is typically a relatively conservative person who was not a fan of the debacle in 2015.

Lifelong LSU and Jayhawk fan. Kind of saw this coming when Mizzou left the Big 12. Used to dislike Mizzou due to rivalry, but now pull for them in the East Division. Strange feeling. Think they would have stayed in the Big 8. Basketball was a real fun time then.

At times, I have a brain fog and I forget they are in the SEC. Honest.
