To answer the question: no way in hell.

Possible, yes. Mizzou seems to be close to a lock. Kentucky is in now but its gonna be tough for them without Noel. Bama probably needs to win out all but Florida to get in.

LSU's only chance is to win the SECT.

Why is everyone forgetting Ole Miss?

I understand everyone is assuming that they'll collapse based on history, but they'd be in the tournament right now and theoretically should win out. They'll more than likely make the tournament.

Uf is a lock.

MU should make it in, without the needing any SEC tourney wins.

Ole Miss should make it in, without needing any SEC tourney wins. (Their schedule sets up nicely)

UK is in now but without Noel, face falling out.

Bama and Arky still both have a chance but both still have some tough games. They may also have to win a couple games in the tourney to make it if they don't pull an upset in some of their tough remaining games.

I think we'll get 4 in. I'd bet money we get more than 2 in. Probably means 3 is the most likely number.

Funny thing about Mizzou - before they joined, I thought they would be really good in basketball and improve the overall level in the SEC.

Instead, they suck at basketball, but still improved the overall level in the SEC.

I agree that 3 is the most likely number.

I think that Tennessee has a better chance than Arkansas, though. Tennessee has a solid out-of-conference win over Wichita State and has the superior RPI right now (67 vs. 82). Tennessee still has a home game against Florida, which would be a huge boost for them. They also have a home game against Mizzou. If they can finish out 5-1 with a win over Mizzou/Florida, then they'd definitely have a chance going into the SECT.

Arkansas just has a lot of work to do with their RPI, and they'll need a few road wins to do it. I don't think it's going to happen.

If you expected us to be another Kentucky, you don't know shite about basketball. If you think we suck at basketball, you don't know shite about basketball. I'm beginning to see a common theme.

If you don't get better at dealing with sarcasm, you're not going to last very long around here.

No problem, I'm sure the Big 12 will swap you for Kansas if we ask nicely.

You could very well be right. But only 14 wins and .500 at this point in the game? Would be awfully tough. Arky's RPI could still get a boost as well as they have UK and MU left as well. Either of them, though, I think they may have to win a game or 2 in the SEC tourney to make it.

if we win 2 more on the road (UF, MU, LSU) and win out at home (UGA, UK, aTm), we might get some looks regardless of SEC tourney. really dont see that happening though.

Florida obviously.

I'm guessing one of the final four scenarios happens:

Mizzou if they finish out pretty well, and make it to the SEC semis.

Ole Miss if they finish pretty well and make it to the SEC Finals.

Alabama if they finish really well, and make it to the SEC Finals.

Kentucky if they finish well. Favoritism will get them the rest of the way.

Conference record doesn't matter. That was basically confirmed when the committee took Georgia over Alabama a few years back.

I'd rather be 14-10 with an RPI of 67 and an SOS of 41 than 16-9 with an RPI of 82 and an SOS of 91. So much for that supposedly "tough" non-conference schedule, Arkansas fans.

If Missouri finishes out pretty well, they'll get in regardless of what they do in the SECT.

If Ole Miss finishes out pretty well, they'll get in regardless of what they do in the SECT.

If Kentucky finishes out pretty well, they'll get in regardless of what they do in the SECT (and deservedly so, but I don't see it happening without Noel).

Alabama, Tennessee, A&M, and Arkansas have to finish out very well and do damage in the SECT.

Getting two teams in is a legit possibility, but I still think it's unlikely.

Yeah dont know why I forgot Ole Miss. Seems to me they may playing out of the tournament right now but who knows. They are definitely in right now, even if they lose tonight.

If they lose tonight, they're far from a "should be in." They need to win tonight.

If Arkansas splits on the 2/3 on the road and wins the last few in the Bud with a 2 victory SECT we get in at a 14 seed
