Bama would certainly beat them in a rematch, and I believe LSU would as well. Kirby exposed Heupel’s weaknesses.

Not according to Smokeyone. he said our DLine and Oline was average at best. Actually, I think he said they hadn't done anything yet and our secondary was unproven.

Other UT fans said you would score 50 on us.

No. We are not melting, but we are enjoying what happened Saturday. Check out a few threads started by some of your fellow Vol fans and you will see where the disdain is coming from. And it isn't melting. We are fully enjoying this.

Want to see a melt? Check out Rich4Pres, SavageOrangeJug, Heisman4whatever, etc. Those are solid, unforgettable melts and we are eating them up. It is what i expected, and they are delivering in spades.

Why no Bama? They played us to overtime at our place. They played Tenn to a field goal with unbalanced officiating. Both had HUGE home field advantages.

Bama would still be favored over either on a neutral field.

Funny thing Ga really was concerned about losing to UT more than any other team.

I was. I think it is a stretch to say "Ga." in general, though. I end to be more pessimistic, though. I always have been, even when I played. I think it helped me get ready for extra effort.

When Tennessee wears gray uniforms, or does a checkerboard in the stands does that mean your coach is scared?

lol Tennessee doesn’t have to beg for it’s fan base to show up.
Maybe you should?
According to data reported by the NCAA, Georgia — who announces attendance as tickets sold or distributed, and no-shows are not deducted — boasts a streak of 52 consecutive sellouts, including seven sellouts in 2019. Only Nebraska (375) and Oklahoma (129) hold longer current streaks.

We have sold out more games in a row than Tennessee.

You don't see:

You got our Z game (or F)
We missed 3 wide open passes
If it hadn't rained...
UGA doesn't want us in the playoffs!
UGA is scared of us!

Maybe you should read some of your fans posts? Seriously. Read them in this thread!

Georgia could beat them.

Ohio State would be a good game. No way to know but the last one to score would probably win.

Still, even when Tennessee was good in the past, they would still shite the bed and do a clempson.

So, who's capable in this list besides Georgia?

Ohio State
Michigan
TCU
Oregon
LSU
Maybe Ole Miss

No excuses here. UGA is/was the better team. I've been saying all year that there would be one game where the offense didn't click and hoping this was the game but UGA's D didn't help matters.

Before the season 9-3 was my prediction and that was very optimistic. As long as I don't get shot, the Sugar Bowl will be a nice consolation.

I've never understood the logic of saying crap like that.

If you win, all you're saying is that you beat an "average" team, and if you lose then, well...

Ok. But you said you didn't see them. Are you serious that you have not seen UT fans making excuses?

This has been an exciting year for UT. I know it is a great ride, and y'all should be excited. And....it's not over. There is still a path to the playoffs for Tennessee. It isn't an easy path and things need to fall just right, but it has happened for us before, and could happen for UT this year. You never know.

ETA Just saw it was BigOrangeKen that said UT fans were not making excuses. My apologies.

Exactly right. Show respect to your opponent the win looks more impressive.

That Tennessee offensive line is pathetic. The overall defense is garbage. 9th best team right now.
