Elam and Floyd.

Eta: a few things I've read had Floyd as late First/Early Second.

Tigers might actually squeak a third in late...

Mingo then Sam

Minter might slide in late first round.

We'll see.....

I believe Lacy has 1st round talent but with his history of injuries, I don't know if anyone would be willing to gamble 1st round money on him. Probably mid to late 2nd round. He could end up being a steal for somebody.

Lacy will likely be second round as well as Fluker. Seems to m there are a lot of good OL coming out this year. I think this will be our lEAST impressive draft class and best coaching job by Saban to date

Milliner and Warmack.

Lacy and Fluker are 2nd rounders imo. Definitely Lacy, and probably Fluker. Pretty sure DJ is the 8th or so rated Tackle in the draft, which projects to the 2nd round.

I'm not sure how much Matt Elam's draft stock has increased this year, but based upon what he has done his entire career, I'd be absolutely shocked if he isn't a first round pick. I haven't been this adamant on a guy from Florida in awhile. Somebody is going to get an absolute stud, and at a great value spot in the draft.

I would take him as a first round LB and never look back

Doesn't Mcshay have Lacy as the 6th best RB coming out this year?

2-4

Mingo & Montgomery for sure.
Reid & Minter maybe.

As for Arkansas. Maybe 1. Wilson if he's lucky.

Not first rounder. There probably won't be any RBs taken in the first round this year.

But i'd hate to waste a 1st round pick on a running back. Nothing against Lacy, but we've seen time and time again guys like Alfred Morris and Arian Foster go from undrafted to stud. At the same time we see Donald Browns, Mark Ingrams, Kevin Smiths in the first round (and yes, adrian peterson and Richardson). Hell, we got Michael Turner from the chargers for jack shite.

My point is, the Running Back position is an absolute crapshoot... and good running backs are to an extent very common. Would hate to waste an extremely valuable first round pick on the gamble that Lacy will be incredible when we could almost certainly find a viable running back for much less.

Hell, Lacy could turn out to be a stud. I'm not doubting that... but I think the thought process of taking him first round is severely flawed.

This.

Depending on how he does at the combine, Faulk might have an outside shot.

Yep, with an average career span of about 5 years. RBs are rarely worth a first round pick anymore, unless you are talking a Peterson type of talent.

I am more worried about the dirty birds getting a big time defensive lineman than rb. Drafting RB's in the first round usually never pay off, example A) the saints.

I think the most likely scenario for Lacy will be a late second round pick up by the Packers or the Falcons. I'd give more of an edge to the Packers just because they'll be picking earlier.
