How many people grew up a fan of a different than you cheer for now?

I grew up in Kentucky and was a huge Uk fan (still a fan). This all changed when I attended UA. I am now all Alabama and that will never change.
Strangely most auburn fans I talk to grew up Alabama fans.
(I know this op sucks but it's the offseason and I'm bored so frick off)

Grew up a Bama fan.
Go to LSU. Now LSU fan.
I had an Ole Miss period in there too. I've been accused of having no loyalty. I'd say it's accurate.

Grew up a GT fan and I still cheer for them but more in a sidewalke fan fashion.

Grew up an Alabama fan switch to Auburn when I was 3, changed from auburn to MSU. Killed myself. Now i'm a LSU fan

Grew up UGA.
I've never met an Auburn fan who grew up bama.

I have a few family members that went to LA Tech, so I cheered for them as a kid. I've always liked LSU as well, though.

I wasnt much a college sports fan prior to college, although attended many games, mostly basketball(no auburn games, not from AL)

Not me, but my dad was a Florida State fan when I started watching.

Grew up a Nebraska fan, then went to school at Mizzou. Now that they are in separate conferences, I kind of like the nubbers again.

grew up an LSU fan, went to Tennessee, still an LSU fan first, although I do root for Tennessee when they're not playing for LSU. My whole family went to LSU, have been season ticket holders for multiple sports for 50+ years, etc. It's just not something I could turn off, even after going to college elsewhere. I was too much of a fanatic growing up to change.

I lived in Orlando from 1987-1994 and was a big fan of the Orlando Magic and the Florida State Seminoles until I moved to Texas.
In fact, I wasn't a fan of A&M until I started my freshman year.

Grandparents live in Clemson and tried to raise me as a Clemmons fan (bought clothes, tickets to football, baseball, basketball you name it). I have actually been to more sporting events at Clemson than any other college. I lived in Cola for a while when I was little while dad was in grad school at SC so I was always close to the rivalry.
As I matured, I chose SC. My whole family are Clemson fans, and I found it suffocating, so I chose to be the black sheep, along with my dad.

Dad went to VT, grew up a VT fan til I attended Auburn
Eta went to Auburn planning to transfer to UNC after a year but I loved it too much to leave

Know multiple people who were Alabama fans as kids, but went to Auburn and converted while there (mainly during the Tuberville years).
Work with one of those guys. His little sister is graduating from Auburn this semester but still wears her bama crap all over campus. Apparently there are a lot of those types down there right now.

My dad went to VMI and my mom went to a women's college in California. I didn't watch any sports until I was in high school.
