Played in a home school basketball league in San Antonio. My freshman year at TAMU I was invited to try out for the Aggie bball team by one of the assistant coaches.

I would have been blown out of the water I'm too short and that team was too good (DeAndre Jordan and Acie Law IV were headlining that squad). No way in hell.

I played for the Corps of Cadets basketball team instead

Believe it or not but used to love the Body Flow (a Combo Yoga / Pilates) class at the gym I went to when I lived in St Louis. That class would kick my 225 lbs tail! Unfortunately when I moved back to Mississippi no would fork out the $ for the franchise rights!

In HS played Nickel CB as a Freshman, and started at Corner as a Sophomore. Backup QB both seasons, started/played in a few games at Q though cuz the guy ahead of me was hurt a lot. Started at Q final two year.

I was until my sophomore year of highschool... I ran track, played base ball, football, and did a year of wrestling. I remember having severe back pain after football practice. Went to the doctor and found out I had severe scoliosis. I was 6'2 190 at the time. I tried to stick it out but the pain was way too bad. I waited 2 years for the spinal fusion surgery. I'm 6'5ish 230 now. I lift weights and ride my bike a lot now. With a long arse titanium rod in my back.

So to answer your question, no.. I was never a true athlete. Although I did start at defensive end through the second half of my freshmen season at JCCS.

I was a highwayman. Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five
But I am still alive.

I was also an All-American at Rand University, so eat shite OP.

This is pretty much how I feel when I discuss sports at the pub or in a public setting or when it's in my field of work.

I can't stand a busybody who doesn't have the certifications or the scars trying to be an authority on anything.

I always wanted to play football for Notre Dame but I was undersized and everyone told me I couldn't do it. I kept at it and eventually got to play at the very end of my last game my senior season. My teammates carried me off the field.
