OH NO!! Fans thought their new coach would win! What a shock!! How do you know we won't find anyone better than him? Do you think he is a great coach currently? Do you think he did a good enough job to still be the head coach at LSU? Also, what exactly makes you think Florida is a better program than LSU? Lets compare resume's of both schools:
Florida - 3 national championships (Last 2008). 8 SEC Titles. In this century, they are 214-106 and 127-73 in the SEC, not including this year as it is still ongoing.
LSU - 4 national championships (Last 2019). 12 SEC Titles. In this century, they are 242-82 and 136-64 in the SEC, not including this year as it is still ongoing.
So, looking at that, how exactly is Florida a better program than LSU?
Florida - 3 national championships (Last 2008). 8 SEC Titles. In this century, they are 214-106 and 127-73 in the SEC, not including this year as it is still ongoing.
LSU - 4 national championships (Last 2019). 12 SEC Titles. In this century, they are 242-82 and 136-64 in the SEC, not including this year as it is still ongoing.
So, looking at that, how exactly is Florida a better program than LSU?

Florida's athletic program is much better known than LSU. That's well known. Not saying you can't do better than BK but lsu isn't known to be financially loaded. Y'all took BK away from a Notre Dame and it didn't work so what makes lsu fans think they can do better?

Yes we will. Kelly’s resume prior to coming to LSU was excellent. However, he was checked out here. He never had the energy, enthusiasm, and desire to be an elite coach here. So…. Yes, we can find someone better. Our 3 previous coaches all won SEC & National Titles, so this job presents anyone with the energy and drive to win at the highest level.
As to comparing us to Florida. There are numerous great things about both programs. Both are highly desirable destinations for coaches with ambition.
If the “right” coach is hired, championships will happen for both programs.
