I doubt many of y’all are “seniors” so I suspect most think 75 years old means decrepit and hobbling.
But I’m almost 77, can still hobble a short triathlon, play golf at reasonable level, play chess at a decent rating, still like intelligent women, fast cars, complex plots. I play golf with one 80 year old friend that has shot his age about 150 times.
All this is not a brag... it is to alert all of you that today 75 years is not “old”. (By the way, I casually knew Coach Bryant socially in Tuscaloosa all during the 1970s and after his minor stroke he was a bit “old” at age 70 when he passed away).
Look at Coach Saban... throwing passes on practice field. Playing basketball and golf... IMHO if he has no heart problems and avoids cancer he could be here for the duration, or 80 whichever comes first.
I can see him still coaching, while raising his cane grumpily and yelling “get of my lawn” at the neighborhood kids.

As long as his health holds up & he continues winning at an elite level I think he'll stick around til he's 80 or so. The man eat sleeps breathes football. He continues to look ahead & forward for the next year of competition while developing elite talent.

I think he coaches until he is diagnosed with Alzheimers.

2029 will be his last season. He'll be 77 when that season starts.

Until he's unable to do it successfully.
