Rebounding hasn't really been our problem against taller teams, it's that we aren't making shots down low. I expect Maten to have a career game Saturday. For that game it will come down to is there anyone else on UGA's team that can produce besides Maten.

Any Auburn fan knows that our inside depth and scoring ability is a huge liability. The team as a whole will face some challenges because of this as the season moves forward. The positive last night are we shot FT's uncharacteristically poor, we shot the 3 below average and bama had a 10 pt a game player go off.

The negatives are obvious. If you can catch us shooting poorly preventing us form scoring inside isn't tough. This team might have been special with Wiley and Purifoy.

Alabama did a good job of guarding the 3 point line. Speaking of shooting free throws, do y'all actually get that type of officiating all the time?...if so, you got a great year ahead of you. Finally, as for that 10-point per game guy, he had 10 3s earlier this year in a game. The reason he went off on y'all was because Sexton wasn't there to drive the ball inside the paint. With Sexton in the game, it'll be very interesting to see how y'all handle the assault on goal...should be a very different type of game.

Jared Harper who is 5'9

And AU was playing man to man, when Bama didn't have a guy smaller than 6'5 in the game. Yet never did they post that guy up. Drove me nuts.

Yeah, there were only a couple of clear out/post up plays that I recall, one for Ingram and one for Herb Jones. Both resulted in a basket.

However, Avery isolating Herb Jones to play make had a lot to do with Jones being guarded by a much shorter defender and that move was really the key to the second half turnaround.

I would add that having shorter perimeter defenders also had a lot to do with Petty getting so comfortable shooting threes right over usually pretty decent perimeter defense.

I was actually referring to the # of times y'all get to the line.
