is this the thread where you retarded boomers play pretend and tell fairy tales wherein every team was clean as a whistle? and no player ever got paid? no one's uncle ever got a job? do you also get confused and upset when someone uses a phone that doesn't have buttons?

Chicken,

Can we please have a Bitch About College Football board?

Thanks,

Boro

Conferences that have been together for generations are splitting up and we shouldn't talk about it in the offseason?

What exactly do you want to talk about?

We have AI now, so we don't need to know anything.

In the beginning college football was just that, college kids representing their university and playing football for them. Now it is basically the minor leagues for NFL. Especially for the SEC and Big 10 teams. Ironically enough, they will suffer the most if they are worried about the integrity or college football. There is no solution though because this board shits on any teams that aren’t SEC pretty regularly lol. However, in the future their version of college football (the smaller conferences) might be a lot more similar to the old college football we know and love, than the SECs version.

Well that was sort of the problem yes? The leadership of the conference and their enablers had zero foresight. They didn’t just get it wrong like the ACC, they were effectively negligent to fumble away the advantages they had at the beginning of realignment ~13 years ago. Sucks that 4 schools pay the price, but I’m sure the SWC castaways 30ish years ago felt similar.

Great points.

College football has always been controlled by money and there’s always been different conferences. Who gives a shite that the Pac12 does t exist anymore?

Because in ten years…..hell, maybe five, you’ll see original SEC members wondering out loud if they will be rubbed out of the league.

Get the fricking media off the field/court. No coach wants to answer questions from a stupid arse journalist at halftime. He is a little busy right now.

I fricking hate that. It’s so stupid and pointless. Zero quality info is ever given and for good reason. It’s a total waste of time.
