Count me on the train that Malzahn isn't taking anyone away from Arkansas or any other SEC school for that matter. It's ARKANSAS STATE, they just had their first relevant season in FBS, EVER. Still aren't a Top 25 team...why would any GOOD recruit (SEC caliber) want to go there, to a usually mid/bottom dwelling Sun Belt school if they have an offer to play in the SEC? I don't care if Nick Saban or Pete Carroll were there, they aren't getting good players to come there over SEC schools.

Doesn't seem like you will close with any, all we ever hear about is Arkansas closing with some offensive guys left (DGB, Diamond, etc..)
Off the top of my head there are nine 4* defensive players that have recently taken an OV or will be here over the next month on one. Doesn't mean we will land a single one of them obviously but it's not like he isn't going after highly rated guys.

The fact that he can't win an SEC Championship there will eat at him enough to leave one day.
He's too much of an egomaniac.

He'll win an SEC title soon. Our talent level is getting better each year. All these guys that showed out this year are from his first recruiting class. We've got good young talent in the wings

we will have to catch LSU and Bama in between a down year. The probability of that is pretty slim IMO.

Nope, we just have to beat them, down year or not.

Petrino does know that you have to have a good defense to win in the SEC, robinson wasnt his first choice and at least he fired him. Our talent level on defense wasnt as bad as people let on really
Jake Bequette- all-SEC caliber player
Jerry Franklin- all-SEC caliber player
Tramain Thomas- tied with mark barron with 12 career INTs and preseason all-SEC
DD Jones- 4*
Byran Jones- 4*
Darius Winston- 5*
Tevin Mitchel- 4*
Tenarius Wright- 12th in SEC in sacks last year
I mean we have some talent, just for whatever reason we couldnt put it all together...we have to get better with haynes. Im not saying we should be LSU/Bama level but we should be way better than we were this year

As soon as he realizes he is at a limited program where the best he will ever do is a 2 loss season followed by yet another bowl loss.
In other words, very soon.

Last year he was 1 cam newton super team from being the SEC West champ and getting 11 wins.
I'm thinking it's still possible...especially considering he just got another 10 win seasons without his best player (by far - Knile).

limited program
I don't understand this. Sure our past isn't as strong as some but why is it a limited program?
