After last year? When a freshman QB sodomized you?
Your life clearly revolves around Alabama football (and Auburn too, apparently.) I’m surprised you didn’t hang yourself. frick, maybe you still should.

Not a single guy on that list had a better career than Cam is already having. Like I said, just try your best not to die from obesity or an overdose over the next 10-15 years and I'll be sure you're the first one I mention in the thread about Cam getting enshrined. You should feel special about that

Next time Cam does beat his Saints somebody needs to call suicide prevention for him.

He probably shouldn’t. I just hope he hasn’t polluted the gene pool in Alabama anymore.

"lucks into a wildcard"

He's the only QB to ever win the NFC South 3 seasons in a row. How many QBs in the NFL right now other than Tom Brady have won their division 3 straight times? Not Drew Brees

Please keep banging the drum for Cam. I want him at the helm of Carolina as long as possible.

Not to worry, his family tree grows in a straight line.

Man killing trees, people still hanging on to stuff nine years later. There some hate Alabama has for Auburn. Didn’t realize a 22 year old college kid could screw so many adults up. But he did

Me too. Imagine how hard he'll frick the Saints once Brees is gone and y'all are back to being the Aints. Y'alls greatest run in your franchise history and y'all are barely .500 vs a team that's barely had an OL this decade. That's just sad

Surprised they never murdered anybody over it. Bama fans have been known to murder people after losing the Iron Bowl.

I can't imagine it.

Because I'm too busy trying to imagine being a fan of a team who is dreaming of a day when their quarterback has a chance to be relevant in their own division because another team's quarterback finally retires, even though their team drafted a new quarterback because their current quarterback has had multiple surgeries and hasn't been productive as of late.

It's exhausting.

2. Choked in the Super Bowl
This is such a lazy, overused and, quite honestly, ignorant take.

Carolina played on of the GOAT defenses in Super Bowl 50. Denver shut down every QB they played that year, including Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers, Tom Brady, etc...

Their defense was stacked.

Derek Wolfe
Malik Jackson
Demarcus Ware
Von Miller
Brandon Marshall
Danny Trevathan
Aqib Talib
Chris Harris Jr
Bradley Roby
TJ Ward
Darian Stewart

...you do realize he was on pace to have his best passing season until he hurt his shoulder, right?

TJ Watt demolished his shoulder and Carolina’s training staff did nothing about it. Everyone on planet Earth could tell he needed to sit.

No shite he played bad at the end of the season. He couldn’t even throw a Hail Mary.

Cam doesn't need Brees to retire to be relevant. It'll be sad because Brees is the only thing keeping y'all competitive. Cam has had no problem accomplishing things that Brees can't, like winning the division 3 straight years, and winning an MVP.

Brees is nothing more than a system QB who lucked into signing with the 2nd best offensive coach in the game only because his body was too physically weak to play for Saban. Brees was slightly above average in San Diego. Until last season Cam had spent his career with the worst OC in the NFL and some of the worst offensive personnel to work with and has still kept pace with the Saints.

Hope you remember what it was like watching Aaron Brooks while wearing a paper bag over on your head, because y'all will be right back at that level soon enough.

So what I'm hearing from you is he wasn't productive, right?

I'm not saying you should blame him for that, hell blame the front office for trotting him out when "he couldn't even throw a Hail Mary."

But that doesn't negate my point. Unless you think he'll come back from another shoulder injury and put up stellar numbers. And I truly hope you, the rest of the Panthers fanbase, and their front office think the same thing.

And yet Cam has a problem keeping you relevant or competitive.

If you truly believe that, then the Saints should have no problem moving on after Brees. Hell, based on your analysis, the Saints should only get better once we lose the system QB who was too weak to play under Saban.

I’m sure he will be fine as long as Carolina makes a move to sure up the OL. That’s been the need since 2011, and it seems like they’re just now making it a priority.

In terms of production, there isn’t a QB in NFL history that can put up the numbers he has on the ground and in the air.

Cam has never been the problem in Carolina.

Just try not to get too upset this season when Cam is finally healthy with a good offense around him and an elite play caller.

Jeez, I'll do my best. As long as you promise to not get too upset when Cam is finally healthy and the Panthers are still irrelevant in the post season.
