OMG you had an upset victory over Bama last season. Huge accomplishment! We beat you last season didn't we? We finished ahead of you in the west last season as well. Its not that big of a deal. Quit being so rustled over it. Maybe you can do it this season.

I am un-rustle-able my good sir.
Dont bring the "this is a what have you done for me lately conference" as your opening statement and then backpedal away from it with every post. We only have since we came into the SEC to compare programs in the conference I dont understand what is hard to get about that....

What it does take is a few years of proven good football. I sat next to an aTm fan at the bama game last week and I said they look really good when you were up 14-0. He looked at me and said well I have seen us up before, I will believe it when we finish in the second half. JFF really has given that fanbase a boost when it really needed it. Last year aTm could have fallen in a few games without his play. You can say that about a lot of teams if they lose their best player, but I think he has a 4 game swing. I am not sure LSU or Bama would have dropped more than a game or two more if their best player went out. It takes being really competitive for extended streaks to be taken seriously. I think South Carolina has only been fully accepted over the last couple years and they haven't really won significantly, but they have been very good for a while. After watching the aTm game the main thing I thought to myself was what this team will be like next year if and when they lose JFF and Evans. Teams like bama reload, not sure aTm will next year if JFF leaves. I could see a similar post post Cam Newton if their defense doesn't improve. I like Sumlin as a coach and I think what aTm is building facility wise will ultimately make them a big player consistently. I think next year they step back a good ways before rebounding strong. I know they like their freshman QB but we all like our backup a lot until he gets on the field in an SEC game.

What we have done lately is a string of 10+ game winning seasons. I don't give two shits how you feel about LSU but to think A&M after one decent season is on the same level as LSU is a little premature. When you can have the same success over an extended period of time, then you'll have some room to talk. Right now.... Not so much.

You really are retarded... Not even going to respond to you anymore for fear of losing more brain cells... after just pointing out comparing our past before we entered the SEC was irrelvant the first thing you did was just that...
We are here to stay. DWI.

We shall be the judge of that.

It really doesn't matter what conference you were in! Success is success. Hell, if anything it should've been easier for you in the Big 12. We've been one of the most successful teams in the nation over the last decade in the toughest conference there is! We'll see how A&M fares when Manziel and Sumlin leave.

We will always have to fight OU vs Texas on the recruiting trail.

This is true, but LSU has a habit of taking recruits from them too

When they stop talking about UT like the rest of the SEC gives a crap.

Are we still arguing about this?
Here, A&M fans, I'll clear it up for you: You're part of the SEC, a full member in good standing. Nothing anyone on SECr says changes that. You're getting trolled by the rest of us, but since we troll every other SEC member, that's actually a good thing. You're not one of the blue bloods, and it'll be decades, if ever, before you can enter that company, but did you really expect that you would be? The SEC blue bloods are, by and large, national blue bloods, so that makes it even more unlikely that you'd join their company any time soon.
Your chest-beating over having a good year under someone who is literally the best player in your school's history isn't doing anything to endear you to the rest of the conference, not because you're not allowed to be proud -- you certainly are -- but because some of you don't know how to avoid drawing excessive conclusions from it. As it stands, the contingent that cheers for SEC success is perfectly happy to count A&M performances as part of the SEC. If A&M wins out from here and wins a BCS bowl, they'll trumpet that as part of "SEC dominance" just as they would with any other team. So you can be assured that you're equal to the rest of the conference in that regard. And, yes, people are in fact waiting to see if you can sustain success before considering you an upper-tier program. If you can't, well, Vandy and Kentucky and the Mississippi schools are still considered completely SEC despite their respective histories of futility. So there's really no need to be insecure, and even less need to let the trolling turn into a serious discussion. Honestly, you'd have been better off if the move hadn't fortuitously coincided with Manziel's playing years, because he's ruining the hell out of your sense of perspective right now.

I think our Thanksgiving game with get so big that we will split the best recruits like OU and Texas did in the 2000s.
Honestly I have no desire to play either team, but I want to win every recruiting battle we can because SEC staaacked.
