It was more nuanced than that. It was Texas's TV Network that pissed us off. The money from the network wasn't the big deal, it was how they wanted high school and Big 12 games on the network.

You take your meaningless non-BCS bowl game. We'll take SEC championships and nattys. I remember our last Cotton Bowl.

Comparing anything we did pre SEC is the same playing field. You said it yourself this is a "what have you done lately conference" Well we have only been in said conference since last year.
In that time frame we went 11-2 with a bowl win and a win over the National Champs in their house.
You shite the bed against Clemson and finished 10-3?
Bowl games since Aggies have been in the SEC 1 LSU 0
Facts are facts. Comparing times when we werent in the SEC is apples and oranges.

This is a really good point.
We are a blue collar fan base. We have a few elites sure, but most of our fans are salt of the earth folk.
With that said, we are also very conservative. WE enjoy the fruits of our labors. The stadium is the reflection of that.
And honestly, I think the stadium will reflect our values. Less emphasis on the nicest suites possible for the wifes to chatter in, more emphasis on acoustics. Yall will be impressed.

Can you read? I know that A&M has only been in the SEC for over a year. That's why I said it takes time. You don't just jump into this conference and win one big game and all of a sudden belong at the head table. You have surpassed many people's expectations already, but you are not there yet. Sorry if you believe that you are

I can respect that.
But one thing, if I may? The deal isn't about y'all fighting Texas and OU. Y'all need to try to forget them if y'all want to play with the big dogs in the SEC. Fight us, not them!
