How long has LSU been playing players after games?

It's obvious that OBJ and others have been paying players all year. My question is how long has this been going on?? This makes the 84 SMU situation look like a secondary NCAA violation.

This isn't about Alabama.. This is about a bought and paid for National Championship with this year's team. I've lost all respect for LSU. I thought O did things the right way.
