IU wasn't satisfied with the sweet 16s he was providing and wanted national titles instead. The "pressure" at UGA is nowhere in the same universe as that. In fact he has zero pressure here essentially especially compared to Fox's mediocre tenure.
People keep seeming to overlook he's not even finished with year one yet.

You often hear about kids quitting on a coach. How many of them do you think are going to play hard for him after that statement?
I think UGA ends up 1-17 in SEC play.

I'd be concerned if I was UGA that Crean will lead them to more of the same. Last year, Wade made obvious improvements with a roster that had lost its best player and had gone 2-16 in conference the year before. He also had serious recruiting momentum from the beginning. Now look at what he has done this year.
It doesn't seem like Crean is having that trajectory at all. While a safe hire, programs like UGA/LSU etc. need to roll the dice on up and comers hoping to score big. Crean is kind of ho hum. Above average to good, not great. Non traditional programs need great coaches to take that next step.

Tom is going to have a house cleaning at UGA and he made the announcement yesterday. Sometime you just have to blow it up and start over.
