Waffle House is glorious. Krispy Kreme is garbage.

I imagine texag7 as squidward in that episode where he openly trashes krabby patties but is secretly in love with them. Waffle House is an undisputed national treasure.

Also, when Krispy Kreme has their fresh made sign on, you can not get a better doughnut anywhere.

Better kick Ole Miss out.

Shipleys, no Krispy Kreme
Ihop/Huddle House, no waffle house
An inordinate amount of miracle whip users
Whiskey and coke crowds
Decent food, overpriced and no good BBQ

(Fwiw: you should add golden corral and/or Red Lobster to the fine dining aspects of the stereotype list; to which, Oxford also has neither)

He will never be fired. The 10 year contract guarantees that.

What chains are they?

Look, BR has Louies and pretty sure that tops anything in CS but it is single stand alone M&P, not a chain.

What 7 chains in CS do you speak of?

I love my fellow Ags, but you need to watch yourself there. Maybe I just took the bait, but damn I love bourbon too damn much to watch it disrespected. That one of the very few things Texas sucks at. We make mostly shite bourbon. It's getting very big, but the climate just isn't right. Most of the distilleries just haven't been around long enough to age things correctly.

Go get you a Fuego's breakfast taco before you start tailgating and it'll change your life.

In a state where you have the deviled egg completion and chicken salad (granny style) this is bad, very bad.

I wouldn't say garbage, but it is a far inferior product to Shipley's.

I’m surprised to learn in this thread that people actually go to Waffle House for breakfast?

That shite is reserved for a 2am drunk meal, and that’s it. If you can tell me what a Waffle House looks like in the daytime, you’re doing it wrong bby

It's perfectly acceptable to roll out of bed at 12pm and go get your hangover meal at Waffle House.

I’ll accept that as an exception to the rule. But at 12pm there’s better shite open.

That’s subjective to your opinion on the best hangover food though

Do you prefer masturbation to sex? While both are satisfying, the manner in which they get you where you want to go are very different.

Hardly and apples to apples comparison.

a good bourbon is heaven. Shiner beer is wonderful but a good bourbon is just so good.

Little trade secret

While aging is important, the water source is a key part of the process

You can not duplicate the underground springs in CKY as it took Mother Nature too damn long to make them in the first place.

Another trade secret...

If you must add ice to your bourbon, best to make your cubes from similar source. Highbridge is commercially available but if you live close to LEX there is a free pipe drawing from underground in Woodford County near the river. Water line hangs from a cliff and you can fill your tub to your hearts content.
