I’ll be happy if NCAA just stops the lawlessness of NIL after seeing how aTm abused it.

OU has cheated for generations.! That is the only way they recruited anyone to that god-forsaken wasteland known as Oklahoma.

Don't look now, but your school is in College Station. Not exactly paradise.

They won’t get the death penalty but it is doubtful their NIL deals are legal. Texas State law says no college may enter into any arrangement or use inducements of future NIL deals to entice or recruit a future student athlete. Apparently they did just that.

Media reports Texas has a few programs that pay or will pay current, enrolled players, I think their entire TE room got something like 10k each this year, each OL will get 50k starting next year and every scholarship player will also get 100k.

If the Aggies had something like that in place it would make the news or they would brag about it or both, but they have guys like Demarvin Leal saying he didn’t get paid.

So their best player wasn’t getting paid this season but a bunch of guys decided to go there because Aggies have the best NIL in place?

Texas having a top 5 class after a losing season seems suspect, but they do have NIL deals out in the open that may help explain that one. Aggies having the #1 class of all time after yet another .500 finish in conference and no transparency on their NIL sounds about like SMU back in the day.

Did you really just compare A&M to SMU?

Will the Dallas Morning News be lining up to bring down big, bad A&M again as well?

Do you really think offering recruits large sums of money and calling it NIL makes it legal?

As far as SMU goes, they are #1 in the nation in NCAA violations with 8, but Aggies are tied for second with 7. Guess there’s a chance Aggies could get a national title they so desperately want in something at least. It’s right there for the taking.

The NCAA will get the death penalty before any other university ever does again.

At least put a $100 or a $20 on top of the stack so it look like you are holding a bunch of money.

There isn't a Texas Law Prof running the NCAA Infractions Committee anymore. If you don't think Texas and OU were cheating worse than anyone back in the day you are beyond naive, they just used the NCAA and their grads in the media to take out their competition.

Oklahoma fan base, like LSU, is realizing their small school will become totally irrelevant in the SEC, much less the national scene with NIL. When Blow U has to play in a real league they will be lucky to bowl qualify.

In all fairness the “Oklahoma fan base” on the whole hasn’t been dorking out.
It’s really just been a few of ‘em—the OP obviously being one of the special posters.

You do realize your coach and AD quit and ran from Wake Forest. College football nation watched your coach destroy a program in Florida and run like a little bitche. We have all seen this movie before. All except the delusional aggy. As always, aggy all hat and no cattle.

Exactly.

How can a program with A&M's resources underachieve as it has since the 1970s?

This guy:

The guy who let the fricking longhorns cheat with impunity while beating down anyone else who did the same.

We know why everybody is so pissed off about the current situation. The handcuffs are off. It is GLORIOUS.

He destroyed FSU by winning a Natty and multiple ACC Titles and leaving them with multiple Top 10 Recruiting Classes? K. Jimbo fought with his Admin at FSU and they wouldn't invest and he left for someone that would. They acted like he was the problem and that Willie Taggert was going to save them and then when it was a complete dumpster fire they tried to blame the guy who was telling them what they needed to fix.

No one outside of tRant cares about A&M bailing on the Gator Bowl. It certainly isn't hurting our recruiting.

Are you 12 years old or are you mentally disturbed? Your juvenile antics say a lot about you.
