What could he possibly have been proposing? All he was saying was that the game would be played in Gainesville sometime Saturday.
But Foley calling out LSU as not being cooperative was a bitch move. LSU tried, he cancelled a home game, and then bitched about losing a home game.

As said earlier, the optics of Foley's negotiations tactics can be argued for as long as you'd like. Some LSU fans thought he was trying to get out of playing the game that weekend, and would force LSU to play in November. This is why many said he was scared to play LSU. because the injuries.
It was unrelated to the hurricane, and more about how Foley handled the situation. But you know that.

Listen, usually fights happen when 2 people are mad at each other. In this case, I'm not mad at all. I'm having a frickin' blast with you today. No, that's been clear from the beginning, not just to LSU fans but to everyone familiar with the facts of the situation:
--LSU offered to play on Sunday or Monday
--Every other game except for UCF and Tulane were played on that weekend as scheduled
--Other Florida athletic teams travelled that weekend
--Florida benefitted tremendously by having the game moved to November since numerous players were injured
--Player and community safety cannot be a reason for postponing the game since Foley insisted that the game be played in Gainesville
NOT ONE OF THOSE FACTS HAS BEEN REFUTED BY FOLEY IN ANY WAY. NOW YOU'RE COMPLAINING THAT LSU DIDN'T MOVE A HOME GAME, AND PLAY ON THE ROAD FOR THREE WEEKS IN A ROW BECAUSE OF YOUR SELFISHNESS AND STUPIDITY.

But out of respect of other posters, I'm only gonna post in this thread when I have something relevant to the thread. You should try it sometime when it doesn't involve taking up for LSU.
You also should be careful what you say, one day soon someone's gonna beat your arse. But you probably don't talk shite in real life anyway, so your safe.
