We seem to love those screen passes. Wish our passing offense could grow beyond that, though. That's not the kind of passing that gets people out of the box.

Yeah but it work on teams who over pursue up field.

This ate us alive so we quit rushing up the field so much then were eaten alive by conventional running games. At some point we figured out Trent Richardson is no longer on the schedule and have started rushing up the field more, it has been effective.

Getting two defensive ends on the field at the same time who can both contain the run and rush the passer in the same play helps...a lot. Flowers will be a beast, but a freshman de is still a freshman de...even Clowney makes mistakes...just has the speed and strength to compensate most of the time.

True, but a lot of the rushing yards being given up were between the tackles. However, we are also still young at DT which is sounds odd, but you have to then remember these guys were starting and playing as true freshmen because they had too...

We've been playing decent against the run lately. We have problems with dual-threat QB's, or we have had problems. We haven't faced a dual-threat QB since our D-line became healthy.

So you're saying there is a reason jj started yesterday

For whatever reason, Conner Shaw has had more success against us by running than Jefferson.

Do not know why this is.

Bring the flagship on down to Baton Rouge and ya'll can play with it in the river or University Lakes.

Our run D is so good all they work on in practice is the super bowl shuffle.
