Played like shite, but still had the lead. Then, Jones fumbled the return...

OM played pretty well against Bama and LSU played well against OM. It happens
I also think many underestimate the effect the Drake injury had on the team that day.

Was rushing the field not enough?
Posted on 10/27/14 at 2:45 pm to cas4t
it happens. im not saying we laid down for om, they beat us, but its one thing to expect to win and a totally different thing to forget about details, assignments, etc. that had to be oj howards worst game ever, he didnt look like he was in the game. horrible game by him. dropping passes and letting a 5'9 cb beat him on a jump ball, thats what happens when you go through the motions and your head isnt in the game. just an example.

OJ has been very underwhelming this year.

I'm making an observation that OM didn't look like a top 10 team on Saturday, and that Alabama, IMO, is much better than them.
Bama didn't look like a top 10 team against Arkansas. Sometimes games don't go as planned. Ole Miss is definitely a top 15 team, but that might mean 3 losses in the SEC West.

everyone knows bama is our Super Bowl
literally, everyone

When is the last time the field was rushed for beating Bama?
Posted on 10/27/14 at 2:50 pm to cas4t
It's football, things happen.
If Alabama and Ole Miss played this year 100 times, Alabama would win >50 of them.
But they only played once and that happened to be one of the Ole Miss wins.

Because Bama is overrated and hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse...A&M, UF, Tennessee, etc
Posted on 10/27/14 at 2:53 pm to cas4t
Simple answer: We forced turnovers. Our offense got in a rhythm running tempo and Alabama couldn't stop it.
Posted on 10/27/14 at 2:53 pm to SouthMSReb
everyone also knows LSU usually beats bama at bama and bama beats lsu at lsu
you and your moral victories though. keep melting

Alabama just isn't all that good defensively, and it was a home game for the Rebs.
