Did you see the Oregon game? Indiana controlled the line of scrimmage and tempo @ Oregon. They humiliated Illinois. The game calling is so so smart.

Yes. Those are not playoff games. Dan, as well as he's done, has had a problem in big games.
Oregon beat OSU last year in the regular season. They got completely roasted in the playoff.
If you read my initial post I plainly gave Indy credit for beating Oregon.
Indy barely beat a Michigan team last year that was mediocre.
They barely beat a PSU team this year that is mediocre at best.
Those two teams out recruit them 10 to one.
But I still remember Notre Dame dominating them for three and a half quarters and letting them tack on two meaningless TDs at the end of the game.

Summary:
There are not enough worthy teams to fill up a 12 team bracket. There never is. There never will be. It’s fricking stupid. It will produce blowouts until hopefully we get 1-2 good games to settle shite.

Very well done and thoughtful. I enjoyed the read, and thought it was unbiased.

Verdict: We just haven't seen a team with this kind of roster talent out of high school do well in the playoff. Even if they pull off an upset win like TCU vs. Michigan, reality comes fast and hard at some point.
I generally agree with this, but IU has faced and beat two of the top 10 talent composite teams this year. They are a better team than last year. They upgraded a lot through the portal. They have more depth.
Their O-line is the biggest swing factor. Mendoza benefits from a really effective running attack opening up opportunities. If that gets shut down, they could have a long night.
I think we will all know where they stand after the Big 10 title game.
