Gilbert made life very easy for him, so he will have less talent to throw to in college.
I never said covid has no effect on an Ee. I said Covid isn’t why a true freshman wasn’t gonna start for the vols. Common sense is more than enough to make that decision.
Pruitt can’t afford to throw a season away, even this one, but if there ever was a season to throw away, it’s this one, so one could argue covid increases the odds Pruitt makes that choice.

I think once Gitmo gets benched, whether for Shrout, Maurer, or Bailey, he’ll be done and no one will look back.

Our young WRs are talented AF. They may not do much his season but Hyatt has been named preseason freshman all american. Wideman is a beast as well. He won't be lacking for talent to throw to.

Gitmo played better coming off the bench. I don't think they ever should've named him starter after that was made obvious in the games he didn't start but played in. If Shrout has learned the game as much as they say tho, JG may not get that chance again.

Is Arik Gilbert the best player in the entire history of football already? I knew he was pretty good but damn, i figured at some point in his career he might have a receiver that might be atleast close to as good as him.
