Alabama has a great RB corps. Yeldon is the real deal, but they need Lacy to stay healthy and Fowler to shoulder a load. They will be fine. I am curious to see how the UA WR corps does this season.

All I know is in two games VS LSU last year his YPC was under 4. Dosn't really matter what he did against anybody else.

He outrushed LSU on 1/9.

I LOVE how bama fans just wipe out parts of a game they don't like. What was the offical statline for rushing yards in the game @ bama?

OK we'll play your game to make you feel better. bama rushed for 108 yards, the sacks don't count for you and neither does the endaround with maze. LSU STILL OUTRUSHED bama THAT GAME!!!!!!!

LSU has the SEC championship hardware for '11. That means they were the BEST TEAM in the SEC deal with it.

LSU's SEC record last year was 9-0. What was bama's?

That he did. It doesn't change the fact that he has a career avg under 4 YPC VS LSU.

you specifically said you held richardson and lacy to under 100 yards on in novemeber. I pointed out that together they in fact eclipsed 100 yards rushing. calm yourself. lsu fans like to forget that another game was played, and i dont blame you for wanting to forget the skull fricking your team recieved. lacy outrushed your entire team on 1/9 with turf toe, 43 to your 39.

It's a fair argument. UA lost 7 defensive starters & 4 offensive. UA's best back since Shaun Alexander is gone along with their biggest play maker at WR.

They will have the best OLine in the country, and an above average QB with national championship experience.

Take the crimson blinders off, stop reading tidefans, & reevaluate.

I hope they can go into Tiger Stadium and win, but if I had to lay down a bet on the game it would be LSU (-3).

My bad. You got me on that one. They had 108 yards combined.

Since that's the only thing you questioned in that post I guess everything else meets with your approval.

i was speaking about last year's team, not the upcoming team. the clue to this was that i said 'last year'

Last year is over move on.

The crystal ball has been broken anyway. You should put your efforts into evaluating this years team & its match ups.

Lacy will be sick this year. BAMA will most likely use Lacy and Fowler to start the season, while eventually bringing in Hart and Yeldon into the mix. Ingram and Richardson once said Lacy was the fastest RB on the roster (that was in 2010). Hes a physical, hard runner who has a good change of direction of his size. Lacy is in the same ability range of Lattimore and Davis but will most likely end the season with less yards since he will share carries between the other backs. If he continues to recover from his injury as he has been, Lacy should be one of the top 3-5 backs in the country.
