Yes. Obviously Bama’s way in the playoffs is for LSU to win.

Whats happens if its a 21-0 situation or 21-3 or 21-6? That would push Bama to 4 because the quality loss to LSU. To be fair i think they will drop to 6. But my worst fear for Georgia is that it will open the door for tenner again.

They're a lock for the playoffs. Unless LSU wins like 63-38 or something which we all know aint happening.

We will never know

The correct but that Missouri thing and the SOS has really damage Georgia’s reputation in the committee eyes.

well to honest; we all ASSUMED that Lsu was gonna beat TAM by at least 10. Some were saying 21.

No. Georgia wouldn't drop below 4. LSU is ranked 11. (It's not as though they would be losing to South Carolina or something.) Alabama would not move ahead. Not even close.

Losing to such a bad team should be catastrophic and drop us out of the playoff. However, since you managed to beat Bama, in a down year, the loss won't appear as bad, and we will make the playoffs either way.

No not trolling, serious question. there has been several very mysterious situations In college football championship history where teams that were projected to win it all had flat out lost.
Posted on 11/28/22 at 9:55 pm to SELLING_TIGER_NATION
UGA has four wins against current top 25 teams, Bama has three, Tennessee has two. Tell me how UGA still has such a terrible schedule?

I don’t think you could make an objective fact based case they deserve to be left out. They’d be easily the most deserving of the one loss teams

Still sore after Saturday night I see.

I don’t know, they could easily get a hiccup excuse and not drop much considering most teams have had or may have at least one.
At least the ones that play anybody (TCU

4 at the most. An undefeated regular season SEC team isn’t getting punished for losing their conference championship. See last year.

#4 at the worst. But lsu can’t win.

That's a dead issue.
Losing like that to USCe and the team that essentially went mercy knee on you in the 3rd losing only hurts their case.

It would be more difficult for the committee to leave the sec champion out of the cfp than for them to allow a 1 or 2 loss team to enter. The SEC is the college football standard and to leave their champion out based on loses alone would open up an argument that the sec has no irrefutable champions unless they were all undefeated.

They'd move to 2 or 3 depending on TCU. In many ways, it would be doing Georgia a favor. TCU will be considered the weak link no matter where ranked.
