Alum = former student. For every school. Webster's doesn't have a caveat, "except for Texas A&M."

Texas' alumni association is called the "Texas Exes". We call ourselves The Association of Former Students.

It was a good idea at the time and there's way too much of a sunk cost to change it.

We only use the term "Former Student" because we were a poor Ag and Military school, and students often didn't graduate before joining the military or having financial difficulties.

So, we had a Former Student Association for those that left A&M before graduation, as well as graduation.

I'm not disputing what you call your alumni association. The poster mentioned aggie alums, which means former aggie students. It's vocabulary. They're synonymous. It's not mutually exclusive.

To get back on point. The 1st game v UF will be exciting, especially if at night, but LSU coming to Kyle will be great. Lots of us have fond memories of those Labor Day weekend games against the Tigers.

Having already taken in games at LSU, Bama & Ole Miss the cherry poppin road trips I am looking most forward to are:
Tenn
UF
Auburn
UGA

6-6 is what I expect, 7-5 is doable, 8-4 would be something. But hey that's why they play the game. We did have #3 & #5 dead to rights this year, but as many Tiger fans now know, it's not how you start it's how you finish.

What a pussy post.
A&M's got a handfull of Congressional Medal of Honor winners who died fighting the Nazis, you candy-arse message board poster.
I'll put up with smack talk, but frick you and your Nazi talk.

Clearly (its Nazi), which is why a U.S. Army General (George Moore), shared it with his Soldiers on Correigidor Island during World War II. I don't remember if it was before or after the Bataan Death March.
Also, it's clearly Nazi shite because every base in Iraq and Afghanistan has conducted one every year since 2004.

Man, you A&M guys are gonna be a soft touch.

Welcome to Hell.

No we won't... we have some sensitive douchebags like most fanbases, but a lot of us have a very LSU-like demeanor.

Good Lord, I was fricking joking! Everyone knows an alumnus is a former student. We just call them "Former Students." Is that so fricking hard to understand?

Stupid piggie

LSU has piss bombs.
Aggies have jizz jars.

Sounds fairly similar.
