As an LSU fan, I believe this would be a very disappointing loss. Especially if you factor in the upcoming schedule. The Auburn games seems to be against an opponent that isn't on the same level as TN, FL, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Bama, and A&M.

The only way it would be embarrassing is if we get blown out like 2014 or 2020. It's LSU's first game outside of Louisiana this year in a place that's usually a house of horrors for us. If we lose yeah I'll be about the normal amount of mad that comes with any time your team loses a game especially against a rival, but it's not like I had any hopes of going 11-1 or 10-2 this year.
Preseason I specifically predicted we'd go 1-1 against Florida/Auburn on the road at best, and might even lose both. LSU has never won both of those road games in the same season in their entire history and I didn't think this team would be the one to break that trend.

On the bright side, if Tennessee does beat LSU, we'll get to watch you run your mouth the week before Alabama bitch slaps Tennessee for the 16th consecutive season.

It’s not like LSU has proved anything. Have I missed something? did we all forget lsu has underperformed the last few years and just got a new coach that may or may not be a cultural fit?
