Sadly Cat fans are giving me Pelphrey PTSD. Thought he was the savior after 2 months then reality hit. Sad but they did it to themselves

It ain't got nothin to do with bein white boys from Kentucky and everything to do with being freshmen and needing a year in the weight room. Strength and conditioning is all they need because the heart is there, especially for Trent Noah, and if Perry can score 5,400 by his junior year of high school breaking Kelly "King" Coleman's long standing state record then I think the boy can shoot and will be fine WITH TIME.
Look, from cradle to grave you won't find a bigger Cats fan but this fanbase better practice patience, especially with a depleted roster missing PG1, PG2, and Andrew Carr is a shell of his former self now that he's down in the back.
I will just be honest: even if we ended the season with an IDENTICAL record to Arkansas I would still be over the moon thrilled. Calipari became so disrespectful towards the fans and the media at the end but all anyone says is "oh but he raised money for Haiti" yeah on behalf of his buddies the Clinton's, probably to finance another snatch and grab by Laura Silsby.
Then last year when Oakland kicked our arse we come to find out he didn't practice all week but instead they went bowling and he did a frickin podcast with OBAMA for cryin out loud.
Plus the 9-16 year, kneeling for the national anthem, BLM bullshite..
I thank God every day he's gone.

I didn't read all this, but I've heard Pope's strength and conditioning coaching is the best in the game

Do KY fans get a royalty every time they parrot this excuse, or is it just fun for y'all to say? We get it. A couple guys are hurt. You adjust and move on - especially you Blue Bloods. The excuse-making is unbecoming.

I guess good coaches find a way to coach through it.
Clearly Pope couldn't

Cal starting 1-6 in conference was coaching through it?

You guys just aren't very good at this.

Dude, we are just as good at rumormongering, rationalization as the Katz... You definitely aren't blue blood at that.

But, yeah... In a sense, Cal has coached, worked with this team incredibly in the past few weeks for it to finally click.
The sets, screens, pops and rolls that I have seen the last few games are finally taking form. And the confidence is there as well.

I mean, it's not like he's losing to an injured Arkansas at home to Calipari. Can you imagine, how bad your coaching would have to be for that to happen?
Posted on 2/6/25 at 3:26 pm to BluegrassBelle
pretty sure y'all have a mere one less loss than Arkansas

I guess injuries really don’t matter anymore. Going from Lamont butler and Kerr Krissa to two white dudes from Kentucky is not going to win games.
Can you really go with the injury excuse when UK went on the road and beat Tennessee without those guys you named.

Kentucky is everyone’s Super Bowl. What can I say?
