2-1 and ranked 16th in the country is a dumpster fire at LSU. I can live with that standard.

That is one way to look at it.

Or you can look at Points scored vs points allowed.

Points scored 100 points allowed 81

81 is last in the SEC. Well tied with Florida.

Unless Daniels is walking back through the door, everyone can see what is coming.

You aren't out scoring most SEC teams "unless a qb goes down and their backup cannot throw a forward pass"

Seriously, take the Ole Miss alumni and boosters and multiply it by 5 for every year that the school is operational and that is how much money is available by comparison. I love Ole Miss, almost went to college there and have sons that did, but the Rebels are closer to Miss State than UF in potential booster money. For the first time, I am hearing that they are willing to spend it on the right coach and players. If this happens, money will not be an issue. The lawsuit will be settled for pennies on the dollar if UF is held guilty, the only payout for Mullen, not sure how much is left of that, but it is ending soon. The problem at UF has always been getting the boosters to give up the cash but again I am hearing that this will not be a problem when hiring the next coach. I don't believe Kiffin will leave to coach the Gators but if he doesn't, it won't because they didn't offer him enough money.

Clearly msu in worst position being a poverty school in a new world that’s even more about $ on top of trying and failing to steady the ship from an untimely HC death. Might as well put everything into frisbee golf and pickleball and try to claim that.

I think we should all layoff of Mississippi State, just do. Their coach passed and are in flux.

South Carolina (because I don't know how to otherwise describe them):

We are what we've always been. A program with tremendous fan support, with a healthy amount of NFL talent, who cannot put it all together for a full season.

Still, we'll ruin someone's season this year. Could be Ole Miss. Could be Oklahoma.

I think Auburn is settling into the youth movement. We’ll take our lumps this year and keep recruiting. I don’t expect us to be a “dumpster fire“ this year, but I don’t expect us to get much above 500 if at all.

UCF should be dominating NIL then? They have a monster alumni base.

Take Arkansas. Larger enrollment than lsu, more alumni. According to their AD, we have 5 times the particatpation in NIL.

OLE MISS NIL is top 10 by whoever is tracking it.

Should UF be more yes. Should they be going through coaches like a 5 month old does shite diapers? No...
There is a disconnect somewhere.

Could LK fix it. Probably. Does he want to deal with all that mess again, probably not.

These bigger schools average fan has never had to get involved in recruiting. The big money people handled it. Now days the big money people can't keep up. A group of boosters have can't fund 15 million a year. It almost has to be crowd funded. Some school's fans aren't wired that way. They can't grasp that they have to be involved. This is where the disconnected is. In this ear, it has to be grass roots fundraising at 95% of schools. Ole Miss is on the leading edge of that and has been the last 3 years.

Arkansas and Vanderbilt are still hopeless.

If Pittman loses to both Auburn and Texas A & M again, he'll be fired mid season.

You need about $7 million coming in from the AVG fan. The big money comes in with the rest when needed.

Big money wants his name associated with what he is doing. Paying for the 2 deep DL is not something he wants to do!

Never even had a 11 win season?

Losing in ATL is definitely better than going undefeated and winning the sugar bowl though.

I'm glad that this is what you choose to flex on instead of actual results on the football field, which again, in two full seasons rebuilding a dumpster fire, BK has had more success than any ole miss coach.
