It had nothing to do with the 'thread not going well..' I just wondered why anyone would downvote a thread that ask such a simple question; How do you feel about YOUR team's S&C program? The question had no malevolent intent. I did not insult anyone's team or coach or fanbase. I simply ask a variety of fans from different fanbases to chime in about their school. What is so bad about that? I can't help it that this board is apparently fraught with posters with paranoid delusional schizoaffective disorder and think that every post is somehow attacking them or something. Gees...I'm glad some responded maturely and intelligently.

Hey genius...can you read? Read my post. It was directed to every fan of every fanbase on here. Thus the phrase; "how do you feel about YOUR team's S&C coach." That is not directed at just UGA fans. It's a question about every team's fans. Read other posters that have responded maturely and intelligently; They all GOT IT. You and a few others have not got it. But it's ok, I'll use smaller and more simple wording on my next thread.

I hope you're not saying I was being antagonistic?! I threw out a benevolent comment directed at all fanbases that was cordial and not insulting at all and got a barrage of attacks saying I was seeking attention or I should be on the UGA board when my question directed to ALL fanbases. Go attack those posters that attacked me. Again, read what the mature, intelligent ones that commented friendly and in a cordial, adult manor to me on this thread. You can learn something from them.

Well said. Recruiting does seem to trump everything. When a kid comes in already running a 4.4 in the 40 and lifting big numbers and a low BPF, it's easier to develop them when you don't have to spend a season or two, whipping them into shape.

Mizzou's S&C coach is friends with Hershel Walker, so he's asked Hershel to lead our baws through push-ups and sit-ups on MWF mornings. On T&Th he throws an old Richard Simmons tape in a VHS player that we're borrowing from Arky, and there you have it. That's how you build a team to compete for championships!

Dude, you're following me around on this forum attacking every post that I make. Why is that? Look around...there are fans of every fanbase that have responded to this thread and we have had a decent, cordial, mature conversation about an aspect of the game of football. None of them feel threatened, none of them attacked with sarcasm or a demeaning comment like you have. They are from different fanbases, but they are apparently adults that can do that sort of thing. You are apparently are not. Please go away and leave me alone, I have done nothing to you.

Not that concerned. I'm sure outliers could screw up any team, but I'm far, far, far more concerned with the acquisition of top 5 talent.
I think ALL these "functional" S&C guys get a lot wrong anyways. They are all cut from the same cloth. They are not horrible, but they are not difference makers.
I think it's cute and predictable how certain top five teams' fans become enamored with their special, wonderful S&C, and great super coaching - after 5 or six years of bringing in supreme top 5 talent every year. Hmmmm?
