I feel good and am anxiously awaiting the inevitable letdown.

Bama looked good. Not great like all the pundits are frothing at the mouth to espouse. However, the team chemistry, makeup, talent, coaching, Off, Def, STS(sans the punter)and leadership was on evident display! Going forward we should get better with each passing contest. So, we can be great, really great! If ..........?

On a sad side note

Hate it for C.A. he'll definitely be missed. Hope he can be fit in time for the combined. Here's to full recovery Chris: Salut!

We will know more this weekend.

Pretty much this. One thing that has occurred to me is that under Chad Morris, Bert, and poor John L. that Rice game is one we probably lose instead of pulling away for a comfortable win.

Am I proclaiming that we are going to stroll to the playoffs this season? No. But winning games you are supposed to win, even with some adversity, is a lot better then losing them... or in the case of Chad, getting blown out in them.

Our team that was on the field Saturday has a NC level defense but nowhere near to a NC level offense.

I'd say our win was about as unimpressive as a win can be overall (certainly not talking about our defense). I feel pretty good that in spite of that we still rose to no. 2 in the polls.

Could a SC 2018 type of game be lurking? I hope not.

Even if we looked bad doing it, we kept our mulligan intact and gave ourselves a chance at not having to beat Bama to get in. So I'm pretty happy.

Bama looks the part.

In 4-5 more weeks we'll know the deal.

If we're able to get past UK, then I think we could easily be 6-0 going into our contest with A&M.
