GCSU basketball is on a slight upward trend is both men and women’s standings and baseball should be solid again. The Peachbelt is surprisingly competitive again this year overall. Tennis and golf both promise to represent the school well again this season.
Overall it’s ok, not great but showing flashes. And were able to do so while still staying in the red with roughly 200,000.00 in net revenue.
The one thing I would do would be to rename the athletic building the Gaza Martinez center. He deserves the recognition as he put Georgia College sports on the map coaching multiple sports to national titles during his tenure.
