Yesterday, I posted FanNation's ranking of the 10 greatest football programs of all time (see below for review).
However....how do the top 10 rank in their all-time series record vs. each other?
For review, the all-time top ten based on all the various criteria (which was extensive) given in FanNation's rankings were:
#10. LSU Tigers
#9. GEORGIA Bulldogs
#8. NEBRASKA Cornhuskers
#7. MICHIGAN Wolverines
#6. TEXAS Longhorns
#5. NOTRE DAME Fighting Irish
#4. OHIO STATE Buckeyes
#3. OKLAHOMA Sooners
#2. USC Trojans
#1. ALABAMA Crimson Tide
How would the above top 10 rank per winning series vs. each other? Results below..........

I honestly don’t care about “all time series records” that are like 1 or 2 games over 150 years.

I wonder why that might be

It's wild that Texas only leads LSU 9-8-1 given Texas' status as a blue blood, the number of meetings, and LSU's lack of commitment to football pre 2001.

Texas has lost to Alabama twice, 2009 and 2021.
And LSU squeaked out that win in 2019 and still cried about the locker room.

Is it? Vanderbilt owns the series record with us 8-3-1.
Sports is basically a weighted random number generator. Flip the coin enough times and anomalies will happen.

Alabama beat unranked Texas with a reigning Heisman winner by a last second FG
And yep, Alabama brought their own air conditioning too!

Vanderbilt was a good program in the early 1900's which is when those meetings took place.

Sure, and it's basically the same story with Texas/LSU. 15 of the 18 games we've played, happened before 1955.

ETA: Nevermind

You had no idea that Daniel was only 15, yet you did it anyway.

OP is doing win-loss records for the series as a whole, not individual games.

And not that I have time to do it now, but it would be interesting to see overall W/L against the other teams on that list.
One of y’all should do that.

As much shite as we all give each other over petty comparisons and pure one-upmanship, this is actually pretty amazing.
Imagine being a fan of some stiff team stuck in a random low-energy conference, now having to deal with five of the greatest programs of all time being right here in the SEC.

Take it easy on cajunbama.
The mods made him remove the teen boy from his avatar and he’s been lashing out ever since.
