Even the announcers were questioning why Allen was in the game. How can you even argue that he wasn't hurt? He was throwing ducks and taking 10-15 seconds to get up every time he was knocked down.

So that's the reason you lost?

Or can he not handle the physical play of the SEC.

I'd say having an injured QB is a pretty significant reason to losing. Especially when the team he played for was winning pre-injury.

Well, it was about the same way Alabama beat Arkansas. Actually didnt you all beat them by only one point, let me check real quick.....yep, 14-13.

So there is that I suppose.

Our QB Brandon Allen was hurt.... If he was health we would've won by at least two TDs.....

We ran the ball the length of the field right down their throats for the go ahead score. That had nothing to do with their quarterback being hurt.

Actually... it was destiny. Destiny defeated us. It was written in the stars that Mizzou would win the East this year. We could have been an NFL All Stars team and lost to Mizzou. The football gods wanted to see Mizzou win the East.

And get blown out in Atlanta.

Im not getting into the trolling aspect at play here but Arkansas couldnt stop Mizzou in the 2nd half. That was the difference. They were and are a good football team but thats where they lost the game.

Anywho...good game Hogs. That was a good show tonight.

I'm not saying we would have won necessarily but I can't believe the ire that first post caused. Holy shite- when your qb plays hurt then it's a problem. Are some of you too wound up that you can't agree with that?

I just dont think you are going to get many Mizzou types to acknowledge injuries as excuses. There was no quarter given to the 2012 Mizzou team that was riddled with them. Posts like "Learn to SEC" "No SEC depth" etc were the theme that whole season for us.

It is what it is.

Pretty simple. Arkansas did not have the SEC depth or line play to hang with an SEC thoroughbred like Mizzou. As the game got on, Arkansas got more and more wore down. Mizzou could just run the ball over and over again for first downs and Arkansas could do nothing.

Arkansas's last six drives of the game:

3 plays for 0 yards
4 for 13
9 for 47
5 for 15
5 for 12
11 for 40

0 points on six drives. Arkansas was dominated after their first drive of the game which went for 71 yards and a TD.

Mizzou's last six drives of the game:

12 plays for 60 yards
16 for 73
3 for 18
10 for 98
12 for 85
4 for 11 (kneel downs at the end of the game)

On that 12 play 85 yard drive Mizzou threw one pass and ran the ball 11 times for 85 yards and a TD. Arkansas's defense was beat, and they could do nothing to stop Mizzou's run game.

Basically, shut your stupid mouth OP.

1. Allen was hurt
2. Derby didn't play
- This bowl game gave the coaches plenty of time to adjust to his absence.
3. SEC grind
4. Missou played well

MIZZOU had 6 points going into the 4th quarter.... Brandon being hurt couldn't throw the ball, therefore he couldn't extend drives in the 2nd half. That means the defense had to play alot more than they should've. The defense got tired and wore down... Bud Sasser even said they were tired in the 2nd half.

Thanks man.

You all have a good team as evident many times this last season. Tough division, tough schedule but make no mistake, your team was legit this year.
