It has a large human vote component, like judges using discretion, as opposed to strike sentencing guidelines, so it comes down to your view on rematches etc.

There would be pros and cons to playing Bama again. I just hope we beat Georgia.

This all boils down to two things:

1- Bama still think they won on 11/5 or should have won.

2- Back door, front door... they don't care how, they just want to play in a championship game regardless if they deserve it.

Had LSU lost to R Kansas and sat at home while Bama played for the SEC, no way these gumps talk about the best two teams. They would have used "You didn't win your conference" (And rightly so I might add)

Look at the teams, guys. You seriously think the Big 12 is more solid than the SEC? Please refrain from comment unless you have actually watched the teams play.

Dude the BCS computers have the Big 12 as the best conferece...stop with your stupid "gut feeling" shite and just admit that statistically the SEC is way down this year

You are being ridiculous in arguing this point, the top of the SEC is way better than the top of the Big 12, but overall the SEC has some really shitty teams that lost to some really shitty teams whereas the bottom of the Big 12 ha average teams that actually produced some decent wins

I personally think Bama is the second best team. But having said that, they lost a game, and by doing that, they brought in a lot of other teams who maybe wouldn't have been considered. I would imagine I would be typing this very same reply had Bama beat LSU.

Point is, you lost, and you can only hope you get another chance. If you don't, it's your own fault.

I haven't seen much of them, but 7 of the 12 SEC teams suck and would have a hard time winning conference usa...

Yes.

Do you want me to look at the records or them on the field, because you're not making any sense.

Tennessee and Ole Miss could beat the bottom 5 teams in the Big 12.

Funny that you bring up two teams that Bama beat soundly...

Dude you keep posting this same shite as though they are facts

They are your fricking opinions stop trying to spew them as facts. You are entitled to your opinion, but I am telling you I disagree. Neither one of us can say which of our opinions is right or wrong, but at least I actually have facts on my side

The actual facts are that the Big 12 is better than the SEC this year statistically according to the BCS computers, which is why Oky State is No. 2 over Bama

Feel free to insert Vandy, Miss State, or Kentucky into that statement.

I think LSU was the second best team in the nation in 2006 but didn't win the West or the SEC.

We thumped Notre Dame in the Sugar bowl as we should have. OH ST got killed by Florida.

Yep, and I personally think LSU will beat Bama in the BCSNCG because I have watched both Bama and LSU play all season and I have a gut feeling that LSU is obviously the better team

Might as well not watch the game now since that is my opinion and it means it is true

OP needs to get over that not everyone agrees with his opinion

And the Harris Poll has 115 voters, so it could get really interesting to see how their votes all pan out.

Kinda my point. There are probably a large number of teams that may have actually been the 2nd best team (or best: see Auburn 2004) that didn't get chance to play for the NC. Simply put, if you lose, you get what you get.
