How Cool would it be if BAMA / GA was in a couple of weeks?

Was thinking. The schedule threads go nowhere - but football threads stand a 15% of having life.
A&M folk discussing odds of getting back in it sheds a different light than LSU fans being whiners. JFF throwing up ratings like OJ in the White Bronco sheds another.
Of course LSU fans are not whiners. A&M fans are not confused (even though (for now) they have a cake walk) and America is not wrong for wanting MORE BAD arse MID CROSS CONFERENCE GAMES THAN:
LSU v. GA
LSU v. FLA
With JFF and the ratings he is bringing in - sorry, everyone is gonna get a little pissed and also agree on this thread and Slive should roll over in his chair. With JFF putting up best ratings for CBS aft. game in 23 years. and will be close in death valley - He keeps the damn SEC race, which would keep ALL of America tuned in - like they will be for LSU / GA and LSU / FLA and LSU / A&M and LSU / BAMA
SO why is America and the sec cheated out of Bama/Ga or Bama SC or Bama FLA - ITS frickING horseshite.
Here is what makes this thread different - I have a thought to improve it not just to criticize.
I decided about 10 years ago that the SEC Champ IS the National Champ. and I was not kidding. Our conference is so much better than the others it is a joke.
Ask my A&M friends - although most on this site are not Aggies. On Aggie sites they hate me because I always told they what the SEC was about - they didn't believe me. Year after year.
Now they do. Now they say sorry bro. Of course JFF made it easier.
BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY BUTTS WOULD BE ON COUCHES IF THERE WAS A BAMA / GA ??? or a BAMA / FLA
Nobody would watch anything else.
Everything would be wide open! Can you imagine if JFF heads to Death Valley as Bama heads to Athens.

Why are we not doing this. As it is now.
Everyone knows Bama will roll and can likely lose one. So LSU provides the only BALLS games from the WEST. The ONLY.
So my question to Bama is - wouldn't you rather have it the way I described it above than just shop lift the crystal?
In the NFL they give the Super Bowl champ the toughest schedule. Shoplifting the Pouty.

Hard to tell when the teams you play from the east are going to be good. There could be a time again where Tennessee is better than Florida again. Far future maybe.
The issue is the automatic matchup....that screws everything. What we need is a built in playoff system within the SEC. Play your 6 games from your side of the division and then take the top 2 from each side....w1 vs e2 and e1 vs w2....the following week play the championship and 3rd place game. Do the same thing with the next best 4 teams....regardless of division. These are the teams fighting for bowl spots. The remaining 6 get paired for 2 games. The only dilemma is the teams ranked 9th or 10th could end up having a better record than the team that us 7th or 8th when this starts. I'd rather have an issue with the 7th team than questioning the best teams.

The popularity of NCAA and NFL depends on where you live.. For instance, I live in Jax. Wayyyyyy more NCAA fans than pro because the jags play like a D2 college team so people go elsewhere to find something worth cheering about.

But I felt the need to attack this topic and get past the crap about LSU cries Bama says crystal.
I am a sports fan.
The SEC has so many marquee games we leave off the table. Its unreal.
I am trying to have the schedule conversation but make it about all teams - not just LSU BAMA.
Tirades is the only way to break through the first layer.

When LSU plays GA - No other game matters - to the Nation! None. Maybe if Stanford Oregon, but that is it.
We could have this every week. Every week.
But we are trying to keep a (certain) national champs. (Bama Fans they are - this thread assumes you know your schedule is protected).
My question is do you want to win it all protected or play ball and have every screen coast to coast glued!!!!!
