Tyler Russell is the best passer(QB) in MSU history.(definitely in the last 30 years) Please explain why the backup is a better option...

Dak is a better fit in our offense. Tyler is an INT machine

Tyler only does well against bad teams and does not play well in big games (aTm, Egg Bowl, Gator Bowl). I think Mullen is experienced dealing with dual threats like Prescott and he could make Prescott into a great QB

We have four very talented QB's on our roster. That's one position that I'm not worried about.

Yeah, I would be fine with Hutson Mason if it came to it. The lack of meaningful snaps would be concerning, but the kid is a very talented passer. Plus having Gurley and Marshall would help mask most inadequacies.

I actually have confidence in Kenny Hill. He wouldn't beat Bama or LSU, but I think we would still do very well in our other 10 games.

His game is very very similar to Manziel and he was rated much higher than Manziel coming out of HS. He's a great runner and had a better throwing skill set than Manziel did coming out of HS. Think he fits the offense well.

Zero confidence in Joeckel or Davis.

Haven't followed MSU or Russell too closely so I may not know the circumstances surrounding the change but after a pretty good FS year his last 2 seasons he has had 13 TDs to 10 INTs.

And even during that FS where which had an impressive 24 TDs he had 10 INTs in that season alone.

I feel like Prescott should be starting anyway. I hope nothing happens to Tyler but it makes us a lot better team with Dak running the show.

Did this kid waste his talent going to UGA. No hit at UGA but will he get to play any during his time at Georgia

I have heard from a good many UGA friends that he is very talented.

Because the backup QB is always the most popular choice when dealing with State QB's.

I don't necessarily think he "wasted" his talent by going to UGA. He is in a very similar position to what DJ Shockley went through while David Greene was playing. Hutson will have all of next year to make the most of his chance and I believe he will be very successful in doing so.

he's probably just referencing the Gator Bowl where he had 4. Bundy's still upset Dylan favre isn't still setting the world on fire at State.
