not nearly as big as the crack in lsu's program. after all you had the greatest football team ever assembled only to get skull drug in the bcsncg. all we need is a little putty, y'all need a cement truck.

The football program is in solid ground. They just need to make some upgrades to the roster. Alabama needs to add a top pass rusher and more team speed on defense. Nussmeier needs to modify his pass-happy ways as OC. That's not going to work at Alabama. I don't think they're on the decline quite yet. 2013 was supposed to be the year they were supposed to compete for a national championship anyway. A SEC Championship would be a pretty great consolation prize.

As far as Cracks in Bama football program. That is probably the dumbest assumption of the week. Bama has been great the past 3 years. The strength of UA is discipline. 99.9% of the time it is what keeps UA winning or keeps them in the game. See this past Sat. For the most part discipline on UA team kept them within striking distance.

this is silly too. Both programs are top 5 nationally and will be for the forseeable future. There are 115-120 teams that would kill to be where both program are today

Not trying to be a Bama dick rider, but you know you have a badass program when your team only loses 1 game, your going to play for the SEC championship and possibly a NC and people are saying you have "cracks" in your program. I would probably even call this year a rebuilding year for Bama considering how many stars this team lost on defense to the NFL draft.
PS, if I was from LSU I wouldn't be talking shite. As an A&M fan I'm not going to talk shite on LSU until we beat them. LSU fans don't have that same common sense. Bama has owned your arse as of late, you might want to tone down the bullshite a bit.

I wonder how bad Bama would beat the Bengals or Jaguars still? I think Nick sees his weaknesses now and would make the proper adjustments.
