Good luck with both those scenarios Tiger fans look forward to Tennessee finally being able to cash these checks

UT's scrubs gave up 115 of those yards and 6 of those points in the 4th quarter when the game was well out of hand.

LSUs scrubs only gave up 70 yards against a power 4 opponent in the 4th.
So...my post was in response to the post about Furman "Running it down their throats" against UT. My post had nothing to do with LSU. It was a response to a generalization that was misleading.

Yes...when you look at LSU vs Clemson, the LSU defense only gave up 72 yards in the 4th quarter. But the interesting thing is that they only defended 8 plays...so they gave up 9 yards per play...but the LSU offense is the lynchpin that holds the defense together. Clemson had the ball for 5:04 in the 4th quarter.
In the two games so far, LSU's opponents have had an average total possession time of just under 25 minutes. Some of that is defensive efficiency (you don't eat up much clock with 3 and outs)...but a lot of it is the LSU offense being able to sustain long, clock eating drives. They had 1 possession against Clemson in the 4th quarter that only gained 45 yards, but ate up over 6 minutes of clock.
