LSU fans jumping ship to hop on the Vols train is truly the weirdest part of this season

You’ve got one more NC than us in the 60+ years….

3 to 1 in the last 40 and your one is tainted by not winning the conference choking in the SEC CG and facing a bama team with the receiver who torched you out for the playoff

Your 2007 title was a joke. Any team that loses to KY and Ark isn’t really a champion.

2003 and 2019 are legit…every other year since we started integrating football teams, you’re just an also ran.

So. Not as bad as they beat LSU?

Brah - A Georgia fan calling someone else an "also ran"? Wow.

I guess UGA has its share of fans that act like the current group of Tennessee fans. Learn how to win gracefully or your losses will lead to incredibly entertaining melts.

Wasn't it an LSU fan that started this thread?

Good point, and it has some validity, but you should have noticed that I wasn't responding to his remarks.

For the record, I think UGA wins this one and I'll be either be highly entertained by a Tennessee melt or relieved by the total silence coming from their fan base here. Now, go make it so, Number One. (And win it gracefully. The rest of us will be glad to crow for you just to rub their noses in it.)

If tenn does beat UGA (they won’t) but hypothetically if they did, it would not be nearly as bad as how they beat lsu

Tennessee is not a championship caliber team. They will have two losses when when the cfb season ends.

No, but when you responded to Dawgfanman, he made that remark to an LSU fans troll job.
Ftr, I typically do not defend a troll job even when it is made by another Georgia fan. I figure if a Georgia fan starts a troll thread, then he deserves what he gets.

Gotta admit. I am really nervous about this one.

Initially I could justify beating Tennessee based off their game with Alabama because Alabama had tons of bad penalties and freaky plays.

The game that caught my attention was Tennessees game with LSU. LSU is (imo) a legit team this year, and when UT beat you so badly it gave me pause. I think Tennessee has a very good team and I am nervous.

I hope we do win the game. But we have so many new posters sprinkled with some alters that I doubt it will be graceful if we win. That and the UT fans have been so combative the last 2-3 weeks. If we beat Tennessee I suspect our fan base will be worse than when we won the title last year.

I'm with ya there. I'm the same way with trolling as a rule, unless someone is truly deserving of it.

If y'all beat Tennessee, y'all have every right to rub their noses in it. As for how UGA fans have reacted since winning the title last year, I have no problem with it. Y'all had been sooooooo close so many times since 2003. All the UGA fans that I deal with daily (I live in Georgia, about 40 miles from Athens) have been fantastic when it comes to crowing about their championship. They're all very pleased with their team and happy to have that CFP Championship belt around their waist, and deservedly so. I wouldn't feel bad at all if y'all won it again this year.

Good luck to y'all this weekend! I'm gonna avoid driving east on any portion of 316 between Lawrenceville and Athens Saturday. I'll just sit back and enjoy watching y'all from the comfort of home as I get a little housebound tailgating done prior to the evening kickoff in Baton Rouge. The only thing missing will be Larry Munson making another "hob-nail boot" call. (His manner of calling a game just grew on you, even if you weren't a Georgia fan. He was damned near the GOAT.)

Go git 'em, Dawgs!

Maybe you should notice I was responding to him calling us also rans…when, as I rightly pointed out you have 1 more NC than us since football was integrated and it was in a season you lost to KY and Ark.
