How bad will Gus spank Kirby?

Auburn clearly has more to play for and Gus has embarrassed Kirby before when he had more talent than Georgia has. How has Georgia done against the run this year?

I don't think they do anything particularly well.

It's going to be ugly. Georgia is just not very good.

Could be interesting. AU is thin at RB and LB with current injuries. If LB recovers, defense should be ok, but I'm worried about running the ball as effectively as we have.

We're pretty good at beating auburn. 8-2 in our last 10 meetings, so there is that.

UGAs pretty good against the run.... Not sure how many elite rush teams they've faced though... UK had some success with the wildcat.

Auburn will beat Georgia badly unless Pettway is hurt worse than reported or he doesn't play at all.

I think Auburn should win comfortably with or without Pettway.

They're also in the SEC East which is a division that doesn't play offense.

Gus's offenses usually do much better than Bama's/kirby's D's scoring D averages

Depends on who is playing for the Boogs. I dont think they win without White.

Georgia is really going to take Auburn to the woodshed this week. It's gonna be a bloodbath.

2014 was embarrassing. Nick Marshall abused Kirby's defense.

It will be interesting. White, KJ, Pettway, and Tre Williams are all hurt. Marlon Davidson was also banged up last week. It's looking like White will play, but he def couldn't throw well against Vandy. Pettway prob doesn't play if it's true he hurt his quad. KJ is still limping around and can't run at 100%. Georgia could actually win this game..specially playing at home.

Georgia may make Sean white look like prime Peyton Manning.

But to be serious, if their offense doesn't call stupid plays again and throw up all over themselves, the defense will do ok. If the offense implodes, the game may be more embarrassing than last year's Alabama game. It's a fine line.

I don't really expect UGA to win but we've quietly developed a very good run D (111.4 YPG & 3.1 YPC in 7 conference games, #2 only behind Bama) & that's AU's bread & butter...

If Pettway is hobbled & White can be held in check a bit we could have a slim chance in a semi-low scoring game, say 24-21, 21-20 etc...

FWIW tho I expect AU to cover but I do have a little sliver of optimism that with a coupla breaks we could sneak one out at home...
