You’re assuming that UGA’s defense would be that porous or make that many mistakes.

Anyone who watched that game knows the best team lost.

Alabama brought their D game. Tennessee brought their A game and they could still barely pull it off.

Bama and UF are our two most heated rivals and the ones who had tye biggest recent streaks and phycological hold over us.

We will feel ZERO pressure against UGA compared to those two.

It definitely seems like I've heard this before. From the same fanbase. It's almost like they love setting themselves up for a massive letdown.

FIFY

Congrats to the Vols on the win, but ...
- You won at home, not on the road or neutral
- You won by 3 points with 2 seconds on a wobbly kick
- You beat Saban who never learns in games like this on better kicking game
- I never heard any other current or former SEC school engaged in butt chugging

You’re playing the number 1 team defending champ. In Athens, on a 5 game losing streak.
With a chance to finally get back to Atlanta after 15 years and 5 head coaches. To become #1 with a real shot.. yeah no pressure at all!

I’m sure you will feel no pressure sitting in your mom’s trailer. However, the players might feel a little pressure.

“But we haven’t played defense yet”. Wait till we play a real defense. Is that still the narrative?

If you were a Tennessee fan you would know. Stfu about stupid....you can't say the way another person feels about rivals are stupid. Bama and UF are enemies number one of Tennessee. UGA a somewhat distant third.

Is Tenn’s defense good enough to win a champion?

I'm still waiting for UT to play a game where they don't have things going their way.

So far this year UT has yet to be in the minus in turnover margin. That's a credit to their offense in terms of limiting turnovers, but it's also a bit on the lucky side. It's almost impossible for that kind of thing to continue every game for an entire season.

UT has had 2 games they were even in turnover margin. In those games they beat Florida by 5 at home and Pitt by 7 on the road.

They've been "only" +1 in turnover margin twice. One was against Akron who they crushed. The other was against Bama... who they beat by 3 at home.

UT has a great offense. They also have a bad pass defense. They rely on winning the turnover battle to win games because while their offense is tough to stop, their defense finds it tough to stop people.

Other top teams have had games where they lost the turnover margin and eeked out ugly wins. Bama was -3 vs A&M but got out with the victory. UGA was -2 at Mizzou and did the same. I want to see if UT can win that kind of game... the one where they play sub-standard but still have what it takes to get the W.

Oregon averages 512 ypg, told you this yesterday, you are on repeat.

Tenn hasn’t played a complete team like GA. Could get ugly once the scripted plays are run by Heupel

It will be a good game at Georgia but I'll go with the dawgs....... and.... unless you think you can score 60 points on Ohio State ( whose defense is really good) and that offense deadly, then I don't think it would be close. We'll see though as upsets do happen.
