I haven't been to a game in Tiger Stadium since '88. I can't wait to come check out the new digs.

'88 was before my time, but the stadium has changed a lot since then.

A&M has over 30k student seats, meaning for every game in the new stadium we only need around 70k alumni, t-shirt fans, opposing fans, etc. to fill the stadium. That is less (in most cases significantly so) than LSU, Bama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn.

Our seating situation is very unique.

Incredibly unique. I still think we should be on the cutting edge of eliminating shitty seating unless we can give it to students.

Technically tiebreakers only come into play when it determines who goes to the SEC Championship. So 6-2 and 6-2 is a tie for 2nd place. LSU won H2H. A&M won more games & had a higher final ranking. One season was clearly better than the other, but they still tied in conference standings.

See. This is why you don't try

We tied in conference record but not conference standings. We beat you. We finished ahead of you.

Why is this so hard to grasp for you puds

MU releases details of new tailgating area at Memorial Stadium

quote:

Located just outside the southeast corner of the stadium, Truman’s Terrace replaces the Amphitheater at Mizzou. It has been transformed into a tiered hillside where individual and groups can conduct catered pre- and post-game tailgate parties. Entrance into Truman’s Terrace, which opens two hours before kickoff and remains open an hour after the game,
will require a game ticket and a special pass for the newly created tailgate experience. Truman’s Terrace includes a TV viewing area and stage for live musical entertainment as well as a social lounge. A food buffet and access to an a la carte cash bar is included with a membership, which costs $200 per person for the upcoming seven-game season. Groups of 25 to 50 also can reserve a private tent party at Truman’s Terrace.

Nothing to do with conference standings, which is what we were talking about. Try to keep up.

Top 5 in the country and still couldn't hang with the Tigers at home

Why don't you find me a SEC rule that says that is the tiebreaker for conference standings that don't determine the championship game. Otherwise you're just saying whatever suits you best this time around.

Sure. Go back to the BIG 12 where you belong or stop acting like Arkansas fans. Stop posting about your magical/moral victory of finishing tied for Fifth in the sec and Third in west. Great season for yall. We get it! Move on.

Back to expansions now.

Seems like some new seats right? How many, just curious, not saying you don't warrant them.

Until UK puts up a 300K structure we can probably desist with the talk about over doing it.

hopefully that's on the inside and not outside like your picture..

great to hear though

so it's like an outdoor sports bar then, live music on a terrace w/ big screens and liquor.. sounds like we are living up to our traditions pretty well! I see this satisfying some Cards/Royals fans on saturdays, if we put up a deer stand and feed the bambi's at Hinkson Creek we can probably guarantee sell out crowds..

I don't think these dumbasses realize how nice looking that setup is going to be given the topography / general landscape of that area. The area in CoMo surrounding that stadium is tits. If y'all are perching that sorta on the ridge like I think y'all are it'll be the premier tailgate environment in the country.
